Panalure Acoustic Debut
Panalure features a solid foundation of four-piece rock sensibility is embellished with accordion, saxophone, fiddle, cello, lap-steel and vocal harmonies that push the music to a place that is both American and very Milwaukee. The updated lineup includes Bob Jennings on keyboards and Reggie Bordeaux on percussion as well as original members Fried Ziegler, Michael DeBoer, Kari Hoff and Ken Hanson. The record features special guests: Janet Schiff from 1913 on cello, Mike Hoffman on guitar and Susan Nicholson on fiddle. And, introducing the Theologian Choir. The band has landed in a decidedly more country space while continuing to defy traditional categories. Primary songwriter Fred Ziegler continues to borrow from literature with reckless abandon as he explores themes of God, debauchery, childhood, and humor with equanimity. The album is the product of six musicians collaborating on ideas that are both classic and timely.
Also joining the bill are Mood Vertigo, and Bret Tuveson!
