Seattle retro-rockers SAM RUSSELL & THE HARBORRATS are back in the Midwest for the first time in 6 years. Join them at Linneman’s Riverwest Inn in Milwaukee for an evening of pure vintage rock n’ roll
Sam & band are famous for their throwback sound and originals that evoke the sound of late 50s rockabilly and early 60s garage rock + soul. Raised in Kenosha WI, Sam become obsessed with the music and decor of this era and devoted himself to channeling the music of that era as a backdrop for the stories he shares in his songs.
In addition to 50s & 60s era influences, the band also incorporates touches of 70s disco, 80s synth-pop & 90s grunge/alt-rock to provide a bottomless repertoire chock full of energetic & soulful originals as well as inventive versions of old favorites + modern pop songs The band’s latest release OCEAN SHORES (EXPANDED EDITION) features their rockabilly version of Taylor Swift’s “Shake it Off”, their disco take on Whitney Houston’s “I Wanna Dance with Somebody” & their Stones-y rendition of Dua Lipa’s “Levitating.”
The band’s unique and transformative live show has led them to has stare the stage with Fleet Foxes, Violent Femmes, Mudhoney, Ben Gibbard, Jon Spencer Blues Explosion, La Luz, Archie Bronson Outfit, The Fastbacks, Red Elvises, Graham Parker and members of Pearl Jam & Soundgarden at some of the Pacific Northwest’s most prestigious venues.

The Nightinjails are a Milwaukee-based duet – two established female artists, combining acoustic guitar, violin, and vocals. Their setlist pulls from classic rock and grunge icons like Nirvana, U2, Led Zeppelin, and David Bowie, remaking classics into a captivating acoustic live show.
The songs and artists are legendary, the Nightinjails do them justice by performing these tunes in a female acoustic style that is impossible not to love.
