New Beliefs is a cosmic folk-rock sextet grown from the seeds of the songwriting duo Hurd & Galante. Their new EP “Wheels In Motion” releases on 11/15/24 and showcases a blend of vintage influences. From the jangly americana of 60s Laurel Canyon, to the choogle and twang of 70s cosmic country, and on through the progressive pop sounds of post-beatlemania UK. The Dream may be lying in a shallow grave, but The Groove lives on.

Convoy is a Chicago based band that plays straight up rock and roll with a distinct melodic influence of blues and southern rock. They are a 20th century swamp rock band. The mixture of their musical style has brought Convoy the recognition of being called “The Kings of Swamp Rock”.

The band was formed in the fall of 2009 and has been writing, recording and performing live ever since. Convoy consists of versatile seasoned musicians, all which are held with high regard in the local music industry.

A James Shelp & The Rolling Hills:   Shelp, the founder and curator of Milwaukee Psych Fest, has long been known for his experimental psychedelic project Moss Folk. A. James Shelp and the Rolling Hills has been his new sonic venture, which he says focuses more on a rural take on psychedelic and improvisational music. “I’ll do some folk songs and I’ll even do some Grateful Dead songs…which I’ve never learned covers for a project before,” he explains. “It’s a similar vibe to Moss Folk for the most part but less effect laden and less in-your-face.”
