Pete McDermott of Ladybird: Peter McDermott is frontman for Milwaukee’s preeminent good-time country band, Ladybird, who, has been kicking since 2021, releasing EPs filled with lounge car love songs, honky tonk mamas, and redneck raceways. Tonight, Peter will be solo.
My Melody is a band from Milwaukee comprised of Kidd Starck on guitar and vocals and Oli Smith (Rainbow Cobra) on drums. Looking to exceed the sonic limitations of being a duo, they utilize unique rhythms and twinkly chord-melody guitar riffs to engulf listeners in song. They pull inspiration from early emo, prog rock and j-rock.
