  • Ravi/Lola "The Journalist" Album Release w/ Spidora, & Dialogues

Ravi Lola is a 60’s inspired psychedelic baroque/neo-toytown pop group from Milwaukee, WI. Ravi/Lola began as a home recording project in 2008 by Casey Seymour with collaborators James Green and Nick Wieczorkowski. 2 albums (Ravi/Lola, II: Ravi’s Tramadol, were released from the home recording era.

In 2015, the band evolved into a live group consisting of Casey Seymour, Nick Wieczorkowski, Robert Thomas, and Anton Sieger. On June 2nd, 2017, the first album consisting of the live group, “Shape Up Shoulders,” was released via CD, bandcamp, and all major streaming services.

In 2019 the Neighborhood Daydream Album was released.  It invited listeners to explore a whimsical world filled with expectation, boundary, and relationship. Through both real and imagined experiences, the album weaves tales of a neighborhood where you might encounter pinstripers, Mike the Mailman, history lessons, and school pictures. It’s an audio journey that beckons you to stop by, visit, and get to know this enchanting place.

Ravi/Lola is releasing their latest album, “The Journalist.” The line up now consists of Casey Seymour (guitar, vocals), Anton Sieger (bass), and Nick Wieczorkowski (drums). Guest musicians for the release show include Olivia Dobbs (flute, sax) and Ryan Miracle (electric guitar, pedal steel).

Dialogues is an indie rock band from Milwaukee, WI.  Comprising seasoned musicians from the local music scene, they explore new instruments and styles rooted in the sounds of the 70s, 80s, and 90s. Drawing inspiration from a diverse set of influences—from Lou Reed, The B-52s, and T. Rex to My Bloody Valentine, Nirvana, and Pavement—Dialogues delivers carefree, fun, up-tempo songs with a big heart. The band features members Joe Kirschling, Mark Zbikowski, Emily Wagner-Morrow, and Quinn Cory!
