Josephine Luhman is a Chicago-based indie singer-songwriter who began releasing music under the name Josephine in 2022, Her music blending vulnerable lyricism with lush, guitar-driven arrangements – a mix of indie rock, pop, and folk, with “soft yet driving guitars, lush harmonies, and romantic lyrics”. She works with a rotating band lineup, including Emma McCall (guitar), Stuart MacFayden (bass), Kyle Mursiak (keys/guitar), and drummers Sarah Weddle, Chris Deporter, or Ricardo Herrera.
