Colin O’Brien CD Release w/ Bill Camplin! One current, and one former, renowned Milwaukee songwriters join forces, with Colin releasing his newest record Thirteen!
Colin O’Brien’s music is informed by the past and speaks to the present. A playful performer, Colin delights his audiences with fiery melodies, groovy rhythms, soulful lyrics, fancy footwork and old time hat tricks. His banjo, fiddle and guitar playing, percussive dancing, and lyrics all express an earnest regard for the traditional, natural and true.
Colin is touring with pre-release copies (Physical and digital) of his solo guitar recording “Thirteen.” Recorded in his newly built Nashville studio, Thirteen is a bold and beautiful collection of original works that packs the creative lightning of Leo Kottke’s most memorable records.

Bill Camplin is a singer/songwriter and acoustic guitarist who began playing professionally in the Milwaukee Area in the late 1960’s. Bill writes and arranges his own material and has produced a considerable body of work. Bill has been an integral part of the Milwaukee acoustic folk scene for many years and appeared regularly at various clubs including the Blue River Café, Numero Unos, The Crystal Palace, The Avante Garde, the 19th Street Coffee House, Teddys/Shank Hall, and Linneman’s Riverwest Inn!
