  • and vendors: Empress Roots, Mama Tiarra, & Blink Art World, and Live painting by Luna

Holly Haebig plays music from the heart, for and with the people, inviting audiences to reflect on life’s complexities while also inviting them to sing along to familiar and original songs. Born and raised in Milwaukee, she’s a proud MPS alumni where music was valued as much as science and math. Over the past 20 years she has played with groups such as One Drum, Kirtan with Ragani, Devanation, Painted Caves, De La Buena, Urban Empress and The Urbanites, The Earth Poets and Musicians, Express Yourself Milwaukee, Meditate Milwaukee and a popular duo with her brother-in-law Jeff Bray.

In 2011 she released “In Love We Trust” which can be found on iTunes and YouTube. She recently founded Music Ignites, LLC.

Milwaukee Native Marjani Love is a child of the abundant universe. An eternal student of existence. In the heart of her breath is where she calls home. She is a creative, who enjoys painting, drawing, dancing, cooking, videography, music and nourishing company with others. She is a self taught musician who sings from her heart.

Raw and real, The Never DeadBeat Poets combine harmoniously blended lyrics over guitars and ambient percussion, weaving intimate and introspective stories that captivate the soul.

Empress Roots is a woman owned business that exists in Wisconsin and Jamaica. Stemming from a focus on plants, herbs and wholesome healing foods, she uses wild-harvested and organically grown ingredients to create expertly crafted goods for body and spirit! Stop by her table to score herbal healing balm, smudge tools, Jamaican herbal tea blends, organic whipped body butter, coffee/sugar and salt scrubs, sprays, essential oil rollers, herbs and salt detox, hair balm, Jamaican sea moss gel and so much more.

Mama Tiarra, creator of Mama Loba Medicina is a Mother, Maker and Collaborator devoted to dismantling colonial capitalist constructs and realigning with rhythms, roles, rites that reach deep down in our hearts, calling us home, to self…to slow, sweet, sacred living. There is powerful medicine in being of service, in remembering and recentering connection to the Earth and Elements, Our Communities, Our Youth and Great Spirit. To bring healing into our own hands.

Blink likes ta paint things that he thinks, deep into a canvass sink like a landmass shrink-ing, when the water-color rise up inking every little line til your drinking thoughts and curves, brush strokes nouns and verbs, picture worth a thousand words.

Live painting by Luna

Luna paints discarded compost food scraps to bring attention to the process of transformation. Participating in the activity of composting has afforded her many life lessons, taught by nature and the elements. She is in awe of the beauty in the layered color shapes and is compelled to paint pictures of these observations that remind us that we also have the ability to change.
