John Justus – Singer, Songwriter, Multi-Instrumentalist, tonight unveils his long awaited record! Milwaukee based ex-therapist John Justus brings a warm and engaging show to audiences of all sizes. Playing well loved covers and hopeful originals, John is a versatile instrumentalist, equally capable on both piano and guitar. Sounds like the intersection between ’60s folk rock and 2000’s pop / alternative.
As a Dual Citizen (born in Australia, raised in Nebraska) John brings a global perspective to his music and invites people of all walks to feel welcome at his performances.”

For Jorge – Jorge Vallentine‘s distinctive indie folk sound channels the music of early Bright Eyes, Brand New, and Arctic Monkeys all at once. Featuring an acoustic guitar, vulnerable lyrics, intimate vocals, percussive and rhythmic finger style and picking, a foot tambourine, and a variety of effects pedals, Jorge’s authentic and compelling live performances reveal a honed ability to express and fully embody a range of emotions with ease. As a result, his highly dynamic shows blur the line between solo singer songwriter and indie rock group and have been described as both moving people to tears and packing the punch of a full band.
Whispers began in 2017 about a group that would pass through genre walls as if they were spirits. By late 2018, the sage like prowess began to settle in. From stripped down sets, to full 5 piece band performances, as Oak has been carving their initials into the heart shaped Milwaukee music scene one audience at a time.
