DESCRIPTION:Armchair Boogie formed in the heart of Wisconsin in 2014 as a banjo and guitar duo. After playing a handful of shows\, Augie Dougherty (banjo) and Ben Majeska (guitar) recruited a well versed rhythm section to hold down the upbeat tempos and provide an extra oomph that’ll bring even the saddest uncle to a dance floor. This happened in October 2015; and in the few short years since\, they’ve toured consistently around the midwest\, played with top notch artists such as Jeff Austin Band and Horseshoes & Hand Grenades\, and played venues as big as The Majestic Theater in Madison. The sound has a newgrass feel that’s not afraid to delve into realms like funk or country. DESCRIPTION:A true chance to catch a rising star\, Hudson Valley based Dylan Doyle has been putting on spellbinding performances nationally as well as internationally. Southern bred\, northern raised\, his trio’s style of music lies somewhere between roots rock and jam funk. It evokes Woodstock but also dips into southern soul. It’s a uniquely American sound Doyle calls “a big melting pot.” After sharing the stage with the young musician in Memphis a few years back\, Ben Cauley\, sole survivor of the Otis Redding plane crash and Co-founder of the Bar-Kays likened Dylan to a young Jimi Hendrix. When asked about the young talent coming up in the Hudson Valley\, Van Morrison guitarist John Platania stated “Dylan Doyle is the future.” Bill Payne of Little Feat described Dylan’s play as “Imaginative and original.” After a performance at the Chicago House of Blues the young musician was informed by a representative of Hollywood Records the Disney owned company is interested and will be tracking his development. After a recent performance at the iconic Levon Helm Studios\, Dylan was approached by James Dolan\, President of Madison Square Garden\, and was solicited to perform at future Garden events. Truly a young man with a bright future\, this is a chance to say\, “I say him when…”

DESCRIPTION:Bright Black is a Milwaukee post-punk/post-hardcore band featuring Josh Paynter [G] – Steve Vorass [D] –\n Matty Jay [B] – Vince Black [V] \nJ. Briozo is a new indie pop/rock band formed by members of the band Swallows. The J. Briozo line-up includes Jeff Crandall (vocals\, guitar)\, Aaron Kerr (cello\, bass)\, Justin DeLeon (drums)\, Brett Hansen (guitar\, backing vocals) and Tyson Allison (guitar\, keys\, backing vocals). The group will have its first promotional EP “Blind” available at this show. The four songs on the “Blind” EP will be officially released on the band’s debut album\, which is currently being mixed! \nHaunter is a band that been shoveling sludge at the worm factory for a while now! \nTyson Allison opens the show solo.

DESCRIPTION:The Rumble Roots formed in late summer of 2014 in Stevens Point\, WI. Starting off playing house parties as a bluesy trio (John\, Ben\, Brewster)\, the band recruited drummer Zach Hubert in addition to the percussion section. Now\, with an auxiliary set\, drum kit\, fat bass\, and wailing guitar\, The Rumble Roots carried thunderous jams wherever they played\, which has now evolved into official venues. However\, the band was not done growing yet\, for in the cold winter of January 2016\, a talentedly funky keyboardist by the name of Andy Gent courageously joined the band in their transition to a funkier feel! \nThe Rumble Roots\, as they stand now and continue to grow rapidly into the Wisconsin music scene\, are a band of climaxes. Energetic jams that soar from earthly rhythms to cosmic peaks are reached through a radical variety of improvisation and feel-good music. Pure and progressive\, the live experience of The Rumble Roots is one of a funkin’ kind! \nPretty Beggar is an Indie Rock band out of Milwaukee WI consisting of band members Michael Castle\,Tim Jurasewicz\, Alex Mielke\, and Jon Cooper. Formed in the summer of 2015 this group emphasizes lyrical potency and storytelling within catchy upbeat grooves.
