DESCRIPTION:Jared Rabin‘s debut record\, “Something Left to Say” was called “An Americana masterpiece” by American Songwriter Magazine. The title track won First Place Folk Song in the 2016 USA Songwriting Competition\, and the self-produced record reached #15 on the Roots Music Report Americana Radio charts after receiving nationwide airplay. \nJared started learning music at age five from his grandfather\, who was the first chair violinist for the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. Jared became a proficient multi-instrumentalist\, went on to study jazz composition and has traveled the world performing an array of music. \n​Jared’s latest EP\, “Wondering About the Weather” came out May 11 2018. Fred recorded two albums on major labels\, and charted several hits nationally. He is also President & CEO of Bliffert Lumber Company. Fred has collaborated with\, and had several albums produced by the legendary Al Kooper – co-founder of Blood\, Sweat and Tears and the man who famously created and recorded the organ part on Bob Dylan’s seminal “Like a Rolling Stone.” Backing Fred’s amazingly soulful voice and driving rhythm guitar is a band cast with longtime\, well-known\, skilled Milwaukee veterans!

DESCRIPTION:Lil’ Rev grew up in a musical family with a Mom who loved to sing Broadway and grandparents who sang and played piano and harmonica. He purchased his first guitar at the age of 12 with his paper route money and set about learning chords and songs off of his favorite records. Guitar was followed by Harmonica\, Mandolin\, and later Banjo. \nAt about 25 years\, he was given an old beat up Wendell Hall Banjo Ukulele and likewise\, voraciously set about the task of learning how to master this humble little instrument so imbued with tradition and style. \nWhile he is hopelessly Midwestern\, his frequent travels find him teaching and touring all over the continental United States. His many unique niches include one man shows of Jewish Cultural History (Jews of Tin Pan Alley\, Jews N Blues)\, Scraps of Quilting Music (A Celebration of Quilting Lore and History in American)\, Yiddish Song & Story\, \nHarmonica Workshops for Kids and Adults\, Ukulele Festivals and Workshops\, Songwriter\, Storyteller\, Music History Lectures at Elderhostels\, and much\, much more! \nCurrently Lil Rev writes instructional books for Hal Leonard Publishing\, presents clinics all over the U.S. and tours internationally as a performer of time honored classics including: Ukulele Music\, Old-Time Blues\, Tin Pan Alley\, American Folk\, Jewish & Yiddish Folksongs\, and Original Songs. \nVoted Best Folk Singer in Wisconsin — WAMI 2004 \nInducted into The Traditional Old-Time Country Music Hall of Fame – 2003 \nVoted Best Instrumentalist Harmonica — WAMI 2000 \nVoted Best Acoustic Act in Milwaukee 1996-1997 Shepherd Express Reader’s Choice \nHohner’s 1996 National Blues Harmonica Champion \nOpening the show will be The Ukulele Sunshine Band\,  They are members of the Milwaukee Ukulele Club who found themselves playing together and playing out of the town!
