Since their inception in 2017\, Bodhicitta has captivated audiences across the midwest with their high-energy blend of funk\, rock\, jazz fusion\, bluegrass\, and countless influences. The band has performed and shared the stage with members of Los Lobos\, Umphrey’s McGee\, .moe\, The Wailers\, Thievery Corporation\, Digital Tape Machine\, Joe Marcinek\, Marcus Rezak\, Kofi Baker (son of Ginger Baker)\, Ladysmith Black Mambazo\, and many touring acts from around the country. DESCRIPTION:The Panoptics are a 5-piece Milwaukee based band\, playing everything from Reggae to blues to hip-hop. Writing and recording our own original music is our passion and something we do everyday. \nWest Riviera is a rock band from Milwaukee.  They play a unique mix of original music\, some well know covers and a lot of lesser known covers from the likes of Tom Waits\, Chuck Prophet\, Wilco\, the Dead etc.  They play their favorite music and hope that it is well received.  About half of their set list is original music in the vein of Tom Petty\, Wilco…melodic rock music.  Because of the age range of the members\, the audience and the influences are equally diverse.  Whether a college age kid or a older music lover\, West Riviera will play a set list that will surprise and entertain.

DESCRIPTION:Formed in August 2013\, The Grovelers were a project conceived by life long friends vocalist Skip and guitarist Graff. They quickly added Dane on drums and bassist Lemonie Fresh. Based out of Milwaukee\, WI\, The Grovelers are a high energy rock & roll band with a scorching original sound that draws influence from late 50’s rockabilly\, early 60’s garage rock and 80’s punk rock. \nThe Quilz is a Dream Pop/SynthPop/Synthwave/indie Pop band from the Midwest\, USA\, formed in 2015. Vocalist Becky Heck and guitarist/keyboardist/producer Sage Schwarm (formerly of Codebreaker\, The Sounds of Time) create original tracks featuring cinematic\, dreamy vocals with modern production as well as an eclectic mix of select covers. 2018 saw the release of their 2nd EP entitled simply The Quilz – Vol. II. The band has an earlier CD release and a 7 inch flexi-disc under their belts and their 10-track vinyl LP Fishing For Ketchup is due out mid-May\, 2019. \nThe Quilz’ influences are diverse and include New Order\, Julee Cruise\, LCD Soundsystem\, David Bowie\, Santigold\, Bob Dylan\, David Lynch\, Marc Bolan\, Otis Redding\, Neil Young\, Prince\, Shannon & the Clams\, Devo\, Depeche Mode\, Lana Del Rey\, Beach House\, Empire of the Sun\, Georgio Moroder\, Kraftwerk\, Bjork\, Blondie\, Mazzy Star\, Tom Tom Club\, Lee Perry (to name a few)… \nDoors at 8pm\, show at 9.  $6 cover.

DESCRIPTION:Hailing from the great state of Wisconsin\, PHUN specializes in playing the music of the iconic jamband Phish. For over a decade\, the band has brought this music to Phans with the focus\, the energy\, and the respect it demands. \nThe band has an extensive musical history including a touring production of Gamehendge (The Man who Stepped into Yesterday)\, an Annual Hippy Xmas holiday event\, and countless shows at festivals and clubs. In 2019\, the band appeared at Summerfest in Milwaukee opening for Dark Star Orchestra. \nGuitarist Mike Scieszinski founded the group in Madison\, WI in 2009.  “I decided early on in this band that we wouldn’t try and recreate entire Phish shows. Instead\, we would focus on using the song forms to improvise with our own voices\, work hard on vocals\, and nail down the composed parts. DESCRIPTION:West Riviera is a rock band from Milwaukee.  They play a unique mix of original music\, some well know covers and a lot of lesser known covers from the likes of Tom Waits\, Chuck Prophet\, Wilco\, the Dead etc.  They play their favorite music and hope that it is well received.  About half of their set list is original music in the vein of Tom Petty\, Wilco…melodic rock music.  Because of the age range of the members\, the audience and the influences are equally diverse.  Whether a college age kid or a older music lover\, West Riviera will play a set list that will surprise and entertain. \nThe Panoptics are a 5-piece Milwaukee based band\, playing everything from Reggae to blues to hip-hop. Writing and recording our own original music is our passion and something we do everyday.

Doors at 7pm\, show at 7:30. \nBill Camplin is a singer/songwriter and acoustic guitarist who began playing professionally in the Milwaukee Area in the late 1960’s. Bill writes and arranges his own material and has produced a considerable body of work. Bill was an integral part of the Milwaukee acoustic folk scene for many years and appeared regularly at various clubs including the Blue River Café\, Numero Unos\, The Crystal Palace\, The Avante Garde and the 19th Street Coffee House. \nBand Members\nJASON KLAGSTAD – Guitars\, backing vocals – Jason is considered one of the top live and studio musicians in the Milwaukee area and has been playing professionally for over 45 years. \nHe has been a member of several area and nationally known bands\, including stints with Howie Epstein (Tom Petty)\, Jerry Harrison (Talking Heads)\, Arroyo\, Color Radio\, Warner Bros. recording artist\, Semi-Twang\, Bill Camplin (since 1974) and the local rock band favorite\, Plumb Loco. His distinctive guitar playing style has been featured on many recordings. With Peter Buffet for example\, he recorded film\, tv and recording projects\, appearing on 3 Buffett albums and the soundtrack for the Kevin Costner television special\, 500 Nations. During his performing/recording career\, Jason also ran several area music stores\, including his own – Big Music\, a specialty music instrument store\, until the mid1990’s. \nBOB ‘HOT DOG’ MUELLER – drums\, stoicism – Forty-plus years on the SE Wisconsin music scene. The driving force behind a range of bands spanning Bill Camplin’s Woodbine to virtually every A-list blues combo (Short Stuff\, Billy Flynn\, Raw Rockers\, Leroy Airmaster) and Camplin’s current ensemble. \nPAUL WEHRLEY – Bass guitar – Although Paul played trombone in marching band while in high school\, he did not envision trombone as his musical nexus. A couple of friends needed a bass player and Paul\, always the organizer\, agreed. From 1974 – 1982 Paul co-founded and played with both RIO and Arroyo\, two of the region’s seminal Country Rock bands. His early immersion in that genre provided a deep connection with Bill Camplin’s material. \nAfter his four year stint with Arroyo he became one of region’s top studio engineers\, typically working out of Waukesha’s Breezeway studios producing albums for many regional and national Artists. During this time he also played for many years with local cover rock band\, Plumb Loco.
