DESCRIPTION:Jonny T-Bird & the MPs CD Release \nJon “Jonny T-Bird” Neuberger (guitar/harmonica/vocals) \nThe architect and bandleader of Jonny T-Bird & the MPs.  Some say you have to be born with the blues to play the blues.  That was the case when Jon was diagnosed with Asperger’s Syndrome at an early age.  Known as the mild form of the autism spectrum.  But that didn’t stop Jon from picking up the guitar at the age of thirteen. Back then\, Jon studied under two of Milwaukee’s guitar legends\, Jeff Dagenhardt and Greg Koch. Jon was given the name JONNY T-BIRD while he was a student at Wauwatosa West High School and one of his teachers (Bob Bathurst) called him that name out of the blue. The more he did it\, the more that name stuck. Jon was learning classic rock songs and played with various bands during his teenage years. While he went to college at both MATC and Carroll University\, Jon finally decided to pursue his music into blues and jazz.  Jon can also be found giving private guitar and bass lessons if he’s not performing. \nMulti-instrumentalist Julia Lewandowski (Singer/saxophonist Wonderful Bluffer) opens the show. \nDoors at 3pm\, show at 4pm\, $10 cover

DESCRIPTION:  \nSoul Speed is a 7-piece Soul-Funk band that specializes in its tight arrangements of classic and modern tunes along with its own original compositions. Soul Speed draws influence from the sounds of 70’s Soul and Funk era bands as well as ideas from the Jazz era. All the members of Soul Speed have a background in Jazz\, Rock\, Funk and many other genres\, that allows them to create the unique sound of the group. \n \nThe Panoptics are a 5-piece Milwaukee based band\, playing everything from Reggae to blues to hip-hop. Writing and recording our own original music is our passion and something we do everyday. \n \nWest Riviera is a rock band from Milwaukee.  They play a unique mix of original music\, some well know covers and a lot of lesser known covers from the likes of Tom Waits\, Chuck Prophet\, Wilco\, the Dead etc.  They play their favorite music and hope that it is well received.  About half of their set list is original music in the vein of Tom Petty\, Wilco…melodic rock music.  Because of the age range of the members\, the audience and the influences are equally diverse.  Whether a college age kid or a older music lover\, West Riviera will play a set list that will surprise and entertain. \n \nDoors at 7:30pm\, show at 8:30pm\, $10 cover

DESCRIPTION:5PM to Nowhere is an alt-pop project formed in 2020 by Milwaukee singer-songwriter Jacob Webb.  Evoking the emotional balladry of Coldplay and the thematic songwriting of Sufjan Stevens\, he explores his own experiences and hopes in his music. Webb’s musical journey began following the passing of his father when he was eight years old; searching for an outlet for the grief and loneliness eating at his heart\, he turned to writing and performing music. \nWhile studying music composition at Northwestern University in Chicago\, Webb entered the OnRecord Songwriting Competition\, a music competition involving students from Chicago-area universities\, winning the competition with his song “Rumination”.  During his time at Northwestern\, Webb was the Music Director of THUNK A Cappella\, and notably arranged the group’s viral cover of Bishop Briggs’ “River”. \n5PM to Nowhere’s upcoming release\, Stoicism\, serves as a culmination of 15 years of musical and emotional exploration\, delving into Webb’s long and tumultuous journey of self-discovery.  It sees a talented songwriter and storyteller coming into his own\, with a sound that is at once nostalgic yet fresh and ear-grabbing. Stoicism drops on May 13. \nBegun in 2020 in Milwaukee\, WI as a quarantine hobby\, Oh Geeez quickly evolved from a YouTube animation reaction channel to a prolific music-making force. DESCRIPTION:Powered by Louie Lucchesi’s unmistakable voice\, Louie & The Flashbombs perform original songs co-authored by Lucchesi and veteran Milwaukee songwriter Mike Benign. The Flashbombs’ songs blend Lucchesi’s love of 1970s New York City rock with Benign’s knack for hooky alternative pop. \nRounding out The Flahsbombs are a Who’s Who of Milwaukee musicians: drummer Bo Conlon (BoDeans\, Pat McCurdy\, Crime Family)\, bass Paul Biemann (Blue in The Face\, The Mike Benign Compulsion\, Arms & Legs & Feet)\, guitarist Al Hildenbrand (Pet Engine\, Britpop) and keyboardist Matt Meixner (Mea Jima\, Milwaukee Underground Duo). \nLucchesi began his career performing at notorious New York City nightclubs like Tramps\, CBGB’s and The Bitter End. He returned to Milwaukee and fronted bands that included Crime Family\, Brother Louie and Klaus Nomi’s Homies. \nLiv Mueller: Singing/writing years ago in a Rockabilly band called “The Screaming Lillies” & barely 19\, Liv packed up and re-located herself to Nashville from the Midwest\, where she performed at places like ‘Tootsies’ and ‘The Rose Room’ while supplementing her income occasionally by playing for money on the streets with an open guitar case. \nNot long after Nashville\, Austin became her next home wherein she formed the first incarnation of ‘The Lovelies’…Re-forming the band after returning to the Midwest is where The Lovelies had the most success. After recording four records\, touring & charting nationally twice\, the band ended in 2004/05. \nTwo albums were released under her next endeavor\, ‘The Dark Horse Project’\, production team Marc Hutner & Grant Curry (Pleasure Club) helped her to refine a new sound she had envisioned…… capturing a beautiful \, haunted landscape of listening. Recording deep in the south of Louisiana proved to be just what she needed to unearth her next phase of writing\, and performing. \nIn the last several years however\, Liv prefers to play solo\, releasing now two records..The first solo release entitled ‘LIV SINGS’ Love Songs For The Forlorn And Misguided\, and the second 2017 release entitled ‘LIV SINGS Light Of The Valley Shadow Of The Mountain’ both of which she composed\, played\, recorded and mixed nearly the entire album alone in her home studio. DESCRIPTION:Bill Camplin Band live at Linneman’s!   Saturday\, April 16th!!  $10 Cover. Doors at 7pm\, show at 8:00pm. \nBill Camplin is a singer/songwriter and acoustic guitarist who began playing professionally in the Milwaukee Area in the late 1960’s. Bill writes and arranges his own material and has produced a considerable body of work. Bill was an integral part of the Milwaukee acoustic folk scene for many years and appeared regularly at various clubs including the Blue River Café\, Numero Unos\, The Crystal Palace\, The Avante Garde and the 19th Street Coffee House. \nBand Members\nJASON KLAGSTAD – Guitars\, backing vocals – Jason is considered one of the top live and studio musicians in the Milwaukee area and has been playing professionally for over 45 years. \nHe has been a member of several area and nationally known bands\, including stints with Howie Epstein (Tom Petty)\, Jerry Harrison (Talking Heads)\, Arroyo\, Color Radio\, Warner Bros. recording artist\, Semi-Twang\, Bill Camplin (since 1974) and the local rock band favorite\, Plumb Loco. His distinctive guitar playing style has been featured on many recordings. With Peter Buffet for example\, he recorded film\, tv and recording projects\, appearing on 3 Buffett albums and the soundtrack for the Kevin Costner television special\, 500 Nations. During his performing/recording career\, Jason also ran several area music stores\, including his own – Big Music\, a specialty music instrument store\, until the mid1990’s. \nPAUL WEHRLEY – Bass guitar – Although Paul played trombone in marching band while in high school\, he did not envision trombone as his musical nexus. A couple of friends needed a bass player and Paul\, always the organizer\, agreed. From 1974 – 1982 Paul co-founded and played with both RIO and Arroyo\, two of the region’s seminal Country Rock bands. His early immersion in that genre provided a deep connection with Bill Camplin’s material. \nAfter his four year stint with Arroyo he became one of region’s top studio engineers\, typically working out of Waukesha’s Breezeway studios producing albums for many regional and national Artists. During this time he also played for many years with local cover rock band\, Plumb Loco. Today\, Paul is a property manager and lives in Elm Grove with his wife Jane.
