After the schedule comes out (after band names are in)\, I will begin asking for volunteers who want to offer up their gear. The following will need to be provided:– 1 Drum set– 1 Guitar amp ( there are 2 on stage I will be providing one of them but we need one more)– 1 Bass amp– Linneman’s PA system and mics.I know not every band fits this exact setup\, but it works for most people. Jim can also run instruments directly through the PA. You should bring your own instrument cables\, pedals\, picks\, drumsticks\, etc.. Jim has Vocal mics for us to use however if you’d like to bring your own feel free. As in past years drummers have been asked to bring their own sticks and cymbals. If you want to share drum gear\, thats cool- but work it out on your own. More on that once the schedule comes out.\n-Jess

Get into the spirit of the Mardi Gras as traditional New Orleans jazz is celebrated with the Ryan Meisel Quartet featuring Celia Meisel on vocals and sax!! Joining & opening for them is Smoke N’ Mirrors\, a band that brings new life to the classic organ trio sound with original compositions and fresh improvisations. Come out to dance\, celebrate the season and have fun. “Laissez les bons temps rouler!” Let the good times roll! \n\nRyan Meisel Quartet featuring Celia Meisel – Ryan and Celia’s dynamic playing and original arrangements capture the spirit of New Orleans we collectively hold in our hearts and imaginations. Meisel is a multi-instrumentalist\, educator and composer from Milwaukee Wisconsin.  Ryan grew up outside of Milwaukee and honed his jazz skills under the tutelage of legendary bassist Richard Davis at the University of Wisconsin Madison and master jazz educators Ron Carter and Rodrigo Villanueva at Northern Illinois University. Ryan strives to share music that is original\, unifying among musicians and uplifting for audiences. Hailing from the South\, Celia Meisel is a soulful singer and saxophonist whose blues-infused sound is steeped in story and feeling. \n \n\nSmoke N’ Mirrors:  The band was formed when old friends and former band mates\, Gabe Hammer (organ) and Pete Geraci (saxophone) reconnected in MKE in 2017. The band went through a few configurations before solidifying into the group today. DESCRIPTION:Heavy Bend is an alternative folk rock band from Milwaukee\, WI\, known for their deep and direct lyrics that speak to the tension between selfhood and togetherness. The band’s music is influenced by the Violent Femmes\, The Microphones\, and Big Thief\, with a focus on emotional drive and sincerity. They have released two singles\, “Scared to Know” and “Sidetracked\,” and are currently working on their sophomore studio album. Their live performances are known for their earnest and evocative sound\, with a blend of fuzz-saturated guitars\, blunt drums\, and melodic bass lines. \n \n\nOh Well\, Ok are a noise rock band from Milwaukee\, Wisconsin. The band plays noisy tunes reminiscent of 80’s and 90’s indie bands such as pavement and dinosaur Jr. The heavy use of distortion and loud guitar noise also takes a leading role in the group. \n \n\nDisposable Thumbs is a power pop trio from Milwaukee that mixes elements of smooth jazz\, shoegaze\, and psychedelia to create tunes as bizarre as they are addicting.
