SUMMARY:All Messed Up Potluck Drawing! * November 30\, 2025
DESCRIPTION:WELCOME TO THE ALL MESSED UP 14 POTLUCK AND DRAWING!\n♫ The drawing and potluck for All Messed Up XIV will be held at Linneman’s Riverwest Inn on Sunday\, November 30th. Doors open at 6:00 PM\, and we will start the drawing a little after 7.\n\n♫ Everyone is invited to the potluck\, not just the people on the roster. Reserves\, especially if it’s your first time\, are encouraged to join us. Bring your friends and family. Get them to sign up as reserves. Get them indoctrinated! RESERVE SIGN UP NEVER CLOSES!\n\n♫ I recommend you arrive by 6:30pm\, but not earlier than 6pm\, because that’s when Jim is going to open the bar. That’s enough time to get some food and mingle a bit before we get down to business.\n\n♫ I’m going to say it; the success or failure of the potluck mostly depends on YOU. I’m busy planning an event. I’m probably not cooking for all y’all. I will provide pizza (get it while it’s there!) and things like utensils\, napkins\, plates. Feel free to ask if you have any questions. You all have been killing it with food sharing at the potluck for years so I’m sure you can handle this!\n\n♫ There will be 16 numbered tables in the showroom. Come drawing time\, it’s fine to sit anywhere\, but when we announce the bands\, please vacate the tables in order so that the newly formed bands may sit there and get acquainted.\n\n♫ NEW THIS YEAR! If your band is missing members at the drawing- don’t worry\, it happens. We have a volunteer with a laptop who will be on hand to get you all the contact info you need to get in touch with your new comrades in creativity. He will also be able to help new sign ups register on the spot.\n\n♫ As always\, there will be one additional stipulation to be revealed the night of the drawing. This is just a little bonus challenge to keep things fresh and fun.\n\n♫ DON’T BE NERVOUS\, YOU GOT THIS. WE GOT THIS. WE GOT EACH OTHER. IT”S TIME TO BE A BAND!!!!\nFUTURE STUFF…\n♫ For promotional purposes\, each band must name themselves by SUNDAY\, JANUARY 4th\, 2026 by 11:59pm. You will need to submit your name via the website this year. I will explain more at the drawing. IF YOU DO NOT SUBMIT THIS NAME IN TIME\, I will name your band for you. No amount of begging will change my mind. No extensions will be given\, and let me tell you\, do I have some good ones saved up\, SO I AM HOPING that some of you are lazy\, or can’t get your shit together\, or just want to be named by me.\n\n♫ THE TWO NIGHT SHOWCASE THIS YEAR WILL BE HELD AT LINNEMAN’S RIVERWEST INN ON FRIDAY FEB 13 & SATURDAY FEB 14th 2026

SUMMARY:J.R. & the Strangers w/ Dropbear Collective\, Ben Harold Trio\, & Genesee * December 5\, 2025
DESCRIPTION:Rolling through the heartland of Americana rust\, J.R. & The Strangers are on a roots rock mission to write songs and rattle stages. When Justin Jagler\, Ryan Neale\, Jake Stanzer and Lee Gray come together\, driving rhythms and dynamic guitars turn the pages of a neo-western book of revelations.  The project delivers a blend of roots rock\, outlaw folk\, Americana\, and neo-western psychedelia. \n \n\nDropbear Collective is a 4-piece modern rock outfit from Milwaukee\, WI. Formed in 2018 the band quickly began writing original music and hasn’t stopped since. SUMMARY:Driveway Thriftdwellers Album Release w/ Joseph Huber Band * December 6\, 2025
DESCRIPTION:Driveway Thriftdwellers: \n“Emotionally ripe\, old school country.” – Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. \n“Like a vintage yard sale that Merle Haggard might have thrown.” Isthmus. \n“Rugged\, straightforward country songwriting.” Tone Madison. \nVocals\, Guitar / Jon Knudson\nPedal Steel\, Vocals / Ryan Knudson\nLead Guitar\, Vocals / Kyle Rightley\nBass\, Vocals / Aaron Collins\nDrums\, Vocals / Jon Storey \n \n  \n\nJoseph Huber hails from the state of Wisconsin\, and seems to bring forth the varied voices of whatever it may be that lies dormant within either the fertile soil or the callous concrete of that world. It has been said\, “You don’t just like Joseph Huber’s music. You feel it’s something that the rest of the world needs to hear\, and how criminal it is that it isn’t spreading far and wide.” That sentiment could be related to the fact that the voices which Huber unearths are subtle and take more than a hurried listen to truly absorb. A person who appears reserved and matter-of-fact in everyday speech brings forth songs that are anything but that. \nAs the singer\, songwriter\, performer\, recorder and producer of all of his own material\, Huber has his hands full\, but never seems to miss a beat. And his own ‘solo’ material has now certainly surpassed the output of his past efforts\, both in volume and substance. As one of the founding member of the .357 String Band–a group that would probably fit better in today’s ‘Americana-saturated’ environment than in the early to middle aughts–he’s gradually honed a sound that seems to fill a very real gap within the still-emerging genre. \n \n\nDoors at 7:00pm\, Music at 8:00pm\, $20

SUMMARY:A Winter’s evening with Ryanhood * December 19\, 2025
DESCRIPTION:An evening of songs and storytelling\, heartstrings and laughter\, A Winter’s Evening with Ryanhood is a live holiday touring show based on the duo’s record\, On Christmas\, that showcases the high-energy\, big-harmony\, dueling acoustic guitar approach that Ryanhood fans across the country have come to expect. \nFeaturing a blend of original holiday compositions\, wintry covers\, and reworked classics woven together with holiday stories and memories\, Ryan David Green and Cameron Hood invite audiences to experience the joy\, depth\, intimacy\, and excitement of the holiday season by sharing A Winter’s Evening with Ryanhood. \n\nNamed ‘Best Group/Duo’ in the International Acoustic Music Awards\, acoustic-duo Ryanhood got their first break as street-performers at Boston’s Quincy Market. It was there that they were spotted by a college booking agent and thrust into the college touring scene\, where Campus Activities Magazine would name them “one of the most requested acts by college buyers all across the country.” They’ve since gone on to perform more than 1500 shows in 47 U.S. states over the past decade\, and have shared stages with Jason Mraz\, Matt Nathanson\, Train\, and many more. \nOn their forthcoming album Yes & No (11/28/25)\, Ryanhood celebrates 20 years together with a bold\, bright\, harmony-saturated romp through the inescapable contradictions at the heart of each of us. The album offers ten high-powered acoustic-rock songs\, filled with guitar hooks\, inquisitive lyrics and tight vocal harmonies built for the live stage. \nGreen and Hood currently reside in their hometown of Tucson\, Arizona\, where they have won more than a dozen Tucson Music Awards including “Best Folk Band” and “Best Rock Band” (you can decide for yourself which is most accurate). \n \nAdvance tickets can be found here: Tickets for Ryanhood | TicketWeb – Linneman’s Riverwest Inn in Milwaukee\, US \n\nDoors 7:00pm\, Music at 8:00pm\, $25 \n\n

SUMMARY:Show cancelled due to the Packer game - Lost Orange Cat w/ Cozy Danger * December 20\, 2025
DESCRIPTION:Show cancelled due to the Packer game being moved into the evening time slot!!  All parties concerned expressed concern and believe this was the best laid course. It’s hard to compete against the Packers!!  Stay tuned for a show reschedule date. 🙁 \n\nLost Orange Cat burst onto the Milwaukee music scene in 2018.  Musically featuring their original songs inspired by a broad variety of styles and genres.  They are always pushing the boundaries of their creativity to find new sounds that feel familiar.  The band’s live performance brings the force of a locomotive led by Josh Konkel’s power soul vocals backed by a Rock N’ Roll band disguised as a bluegrass band. The group is made of 4 total members that each bring a unique stylistic flare to give Lost Orange Cat their original sound. You’ll hear elements of classic rock\, outlaw country\, psychedelic blues\, and a hint of bluegrass to give you something you can only call\, Folk N’ Roll. \nMembers: Josh Konkel: Vocals/Guitar Geoff McDonald: Bass Joe Royten: Mandolin Kyle Ciske: Drums \n\n  \nCozy Danger is a jangly rock trio that takes influence from a Milwaukee sound that defined bands like Soul Low\, Jaill\, and Sat. Night Duets. \nCozy Danger is the surf garage passion project of Jake Brandt\, Chris Vertovec and Phil Gieschen. Born from the bend of Milwaukee’s indie rock scene\, their jangly brand of surf garage teeters between surf driven garage pop\, funk-tinged rock\, and smiley punk. Simply put\, this band is dog-friendly and fun AF. Cozy Danger is fresh off a year of break-out shows including a sold out Edelweiss Concert Cruise\, Milwaukee street fests like Summer Soulstice Festival\, and a record release show at Shank Hall. Their latest single\, “Basement Uno” spins regularly in rotation on 88.9 Radio Milwaukee. \n\nDoors at 7:00pm\, Music at 8:00pm\, $10 \n\n

SUMMARY:Bellends w/ Daughter Undone\, & Guy-Fi 3 * January 2\, 2026
DESCRIPTION:Bellends formed in the studio around a project that evolved into the record “A Feast for the Crows” Now making waves with their unique mix of heady driving rhythms\, soaring guitar solos\, and lyrics that cut straight to the heart. Their songs tell the stories of love\, loss\, and the struggles of everyday life with the passion and intensity that could only come from the streets and dives of Milwaukee. When they take the stage\, the band delivers their catchy hook driven songs with that same train driving intensity. Beginning to end their performances are moving as they are powerful. \n \n\nThis is music in the act of becoming. Drawing from the wells of improvisational new blues\, experimental indie-rock\, and the melodic possibilities of world music\, Daughter Undone creates a sound that refuses categorization. With Alex Boyes on drums and synth and Trevor Hyde on bass\, each member brings over 15 years of diverse musical experience to this new incarnation\, having performed across genres and stages that have shaped them. At the heart of the ensemble rings the distinctive voice of their singer-songwriter Yonat Piva—a seasoned performer who has graced stages across the Bay Area and the Midwest since 2011\, opening for acclaimed artists including Foy Vance\, Fink and Lucinda Williams. \n \n\n“Guy-Fi 3”\, including MKE luminaries Guy Fiorentini (Guitar/vox)\, Viktor Brusubardis (bass\, vox)\, and Paul Westfahl (percussion). \n \n\n  \nDoors at 7:00pm\, Music at 7:30pm\, $15 \nFacebook Event Page \nGuy-Fi 3 will open at 7:30pm\, Daughter Undone will play at 8:30pm\, Bellends 9:30pm
