DESCRIPTION:Lost Orange Cat is a Milwaukee Folk N’ Roll group comprised of four members. Their catalog features original material composed and written by the members of the band. Lost Orange Cat has a unique combination that will rotate between both Josh Konkel on guitar and Daniel Rathmann on Bass as the lead vocalist\, while also flipping between their primary instruments. Add a mandolin\, played by Joe Royten\, into a singer songwriter rock n’ roll band along with full drums and percussion provided by Kyle Ciske and you get the individualistic sound that is… Folk N Roll. \n \n\nFor more than eight years and 500+ shows the ever-evolving Americana outfit Gin Mill Hollow has been showcasing their unique approach to string-band music throughout the mid-west and beyond. Born as an acoustic duo at the Up North Bar in Madison\, Wisconsin\, the group found traction in the area after adding mandolin and eventually percussion to the mix. As a four-piece band\, Gin Mill Hollow’s performances sound more like a rock show\, often with electric guitar and effected mandolin solos soaring over driving rhythm and harmony. Blending genres like bluegrass and folk with jazz and blues\, the live experience is enhanced by an engaging lighting display\, syncing the aural and visual senses. With two studio albums to their credit\, the band continues to write new material with plans to record and release these works in various media formats. \n \n\nDoors 7pm\, Music\, 8pm\, $15

DESCRIPTION:Cozy Danger is a jangly rock trio that takes influence from a Milwaukee sound that defined bands like Soul Low\, Jaill\, and Sat. Night Duets. \nCozy Danger is the surf garage passion project of Jake Brandt\, Chris Vertovec and Phil Gieschen. Born from the bend of Milwaukee’s indie rock scene\, their jangly brand of surf garage teeters between surf driven garage pop\, funk-tinged rock\, and smiley punk. Simply put\, this band is dog-friendly and fun AF. Cozy Danger is fresh off a year of break-out shows including a sold out Edelweiss Concert Cruise\, Milwaukee street fests like Summer Soulstice Festival\, and a record release show at Shank Hall. Their latest single\, “Basement Uno” spins regularly in rotation on 88.9 Radio Milwaukee. \n \n\nArriving from out of the woods somewhere between Wisconsin and Ohio\, Oh Geeez\, Not Again is here to soundtrack your expedition through the wilderness of reality. The midwestern indie pop quartet – Sean McGibany (vocals/guitar/banjo/mandolin)\, Jack Gilmond (vocals/guitar)\, Alex Dollenmayer (drums)\, and Joe Ludwig (bass) – are lifelong musical adventurers and distill their sound from an eclectic blend of 2000’s pop punk\, 2010’s alternative\, and 90’s country. Specializing in colorful lyrics\, driving organic beats\, and nonstop melodic hooks\, their songs are sure to get stuck in your head and make you feel like the protagonist in your own coming of age movie. Following a rebrand in early 2024\, Oh Geeez Not Again is hard at work with producer Nick Cesarz on a new full-length project. This upcoming concept album details a story about the adventures\, perils\, and possibilities of growing up and leaving home\, and will release in autumn\, 2024. \n \n\nThe Fall Sound is a Pop Punk(-ish) band from Milwaukee. Specializing in a blend of punk\, power pop\, emo\, and alternative; mixing upbeat songs with downbeat lyrics. \n \n\nVenturer is a Milwaukee based rock concept project\, founded and led by Noah Beyer (keyboards\, lead vocals\, songwriting).  Venturer is dedicated to telling connected and interwoven stories that capture the imagination and the heart. DESCRIPTION:Erik Koskinen is an American singer-songwriter\, multi-instrumentalist and producer\, whose music is not categorized by sub-genres.  Stylistically he is on his own while heavily influenced by American roots music. The rhythmic integrity and musical tone is as important as the lyrical content and the artistic intent.  Koskinen has reverently entered the anthology of uniquely crafted wry songs with the likes of Woody Guthrie and Ry Cooder while speaking as plainly as your neighbor. The Minneapolis Star Tribune calls Koskinen “the real deal” and “The best country songwriter in Minnesota” \n“Writes like Dylan\, looks like Hank Williams\, walks like John Wayne\, smokes like James Dean\, and plays like no one else.” — SPINOUT RECORDS \n \n\nLong Mama’s music blisters with the heart and grit of someone who has lost hard\, loved harder\, and licked her burns until they stung then silvered. In a drafty attic just west of the Milwaukee River she grew up on\, you’ll find songwriter Kat Wodtke (Wood-key) raking through notebooks in search of a salve: words\, stories\, and sounds to temper the dumpster fires we never mean to light. Flickering behind each song is Wodtke’s lived insight into our human faults & fissures – the moments in life when we can slip and lose our footing\, or claw our way out…better people on the other side of the blaze. \nWodtke coined the name Long Mama (after a prickly\, shade-loving cactus) and teamed up with guitarist Andrew Koenig and drummer Nick Lang\, a pair whose chemistry adds dusky afterglow to Wodtke’s musical landscapes. Upright bass ace Samual Odin came aboard soon after\, along with regular collaborator Eva Nimmer\, whose backing vocals blend so elegantly with Wodtke’s that one could mistake them for blood harmonies. \n \n\nDandy Freling:   A highway-kind traveler combining a touch of the high and lonesome hollers of the Appalachian hill people with the low-down\, dusty grooves of the cosmic cowboys\, Dandy has created a unique sonic banquet sure to satisfy the hunger of any weary passerby. A boot stompin’ finger picker with remnant hollers of the greats of our past – Don’t be afraid to stop awhile\, and fill up your plate\, there’s plenty to go around. \nWebsite: https://www.dandyfreling.com/ \nYoutube: https://www.youtube.com/@dandyl.freling467/videos \nBandcamp: https://dandylfreling.bandcamp.com/ \nInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/dandyfreling/ \nFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/dandy.l.freling/ \n \n\nDoors at 7pm\, Music at 8pm\, $15

DESCRIPTION:5PM to Nowhere is an alt-pop project formed in 2020 by Milwaukee singer-songwriter Jacob Webb. Evoking the emotional balladry of Coldplay and the thematic songwriting of Sufjan Stevens\, he explores his own experiences and hopes in his music. Webb’s musical journey began following the passing of his father when he was eight years old; searching for an outlet for the grief and loneliness eating at his heart\, he turned to writing and performing music. \nWhile studying music composition at Northwestern University in Chicago\, Webb entered the OnRecord Songwriting Competition\, a music competition involving students from Chicago-area universities\, winning the competition with his song “Rumination”. During his time at Northwestern\, Webb was the Music Director of THUNK A Cappella\, and notably arranged the group’s viral cover of Bishop Briggs’ “River”. 5PM to Nowhere released it’s debut album Stoicism to critical acclaim in the summer of 2022! \n \n  \n\nBLACKTOP (MKE): https://blacktopmakesmusic.bandcamp.com/ \nBlacktop is the independent recording project of Milwaukee-based multi-instrumentalist and producer\, Austin Wood. Blacktop draws from a large pool of influence – from Ethiopian jazz and Latin rhythms of the 1960-70s to modern pop and alternative artists such as levitation room\, Babe Rainbow\, Skinshape\, Loving\, and Kate Bollinger. With nearly all recording\, mixing\, and production being done in Wood’s home studio\, the music of Blacktop is adorned with gentle and dreamy vocals\, washed-out guitars\, and acoustic percussion and rhythmic elements. The project’s core is rooted in the spiritual and Zen philosophy of dwelling in the present moment\, mindfulness\, and impermanence. Blacktop is able to be heard through the airwaves on 889 Radio Milwaukee\, and is featured on Lilliput Record’s “Local Milwaukee Showcase”. \n \n\nOliver Dodge rounds out the bill. \n\nDoors at 7pm Music at 8pm\, $10

DESCRIPTION:Join Trapper Schoepp Trio as they return from a month of touring Europe! \nTuesday\, April 2nd 2024.  Doors at 6:30pm\, Music at 7:30pm. $15 \n\nTrapper Schoepp is an American singer-songwriter based in Milwaukee\, Wisconsin. After releasing two albums in his teens\, Schoepp signed with SideOneDummy Records and released Run\, Engine\, Run (2012) as Trapper Schoepp & the Shades. In 2016\, he signed with Xtra Mile Recordings and released albums under his own name: Rangers & Valentines (2016)\, Bay Beach Amusement Park (2017)\, and Primetime Illusion (2019).  On Primetime Illusion\, he wrote music and additional lyrics to the unfinished Bob Dylan song “On\, Wisconsin”\, originally written in 1961. Sharing a co-writing credit with Dylan\, Schoepp recorded the song at Wauwatosa’s  Wire & Vice studio. The album was produced by Patrick Sansone of Wilco. The song led to a #1 trending article in Rolling Stone and over a hundred tour dates worldwide. \nSchoepp returned to the studio and recorded May Day\, which was released May 21\, 2021 on Grand Phony records.[19] The additional downtime due to the pandemic also meant he could finetune his piano skills\, which were featured for the first time on this album.[20] The album title comes from the pagan origins of May Day\, with Schoepp explaining\, “On May Day\, I use the natural world as a motif because I feel a strong connection to it. Nature is something real that I can feel\, see\, smell and touch\, and it’s a place where I’ve found comfort in these times. \nIn 2023 Schoepp set out to record his latest album\, this time at Johnny Cash’s Cash Cabin in Hendersonville\, TN. Trapper continues down the trail trod by his musical heroes with Siren Songs\, which is an apt title for an album filled with folklore and nautical imagery. In Greek mythology\, sirens are enchanting half-bird maidens who sing to entice sailors off their ships\, and ultimately to their doom. Sirens are seen across the album and in works that inspire Schoepp\, most notably in the Coen Brothers’ O’Brother Where Art Thou. In a fortunate stroke of serendipity\, Trapper is joined on two tracks by Sarah Peasall McGuffey\, who famously lent her vocal talents to the aforementioned film. Trapper sings alongside his brother and bassist\, Tanner Schoepp\, with characteristic blood harmony\, the unique blend of sibling singers. \n \n\nJoin Trapper Schoepp Trio as they return from a month of touring Europe! \nTuesday\, April 2nd 2024.  Doors at 6:30pm\, Music at 7:30pm. $15

DESCRIPTION:Since 2018\, Wonderful Bluffer has sought nothing more than to disarm and enchant audiences with the undying spirit of rock n’ roll. In just a few short years\, the Milwaukee-based rock band has managed to craft a style of music all their own\, with influences spanning across many genres. \nOctober of 2021 saw the release of Wonderful Bluffer’s first album: Passion & Reason — a 6-song introduction to the musicianship and songwriting talents of the band\, proving their commitment to a diverse style that spans various genres of rock and roll\, blues\, heavy metal and progressive rock. \nKnown for their high-energy live performances\, the band seeks nothing more than to share their music with anyone willing to come and listen to what they have to offer. \nComing hot off the release of their second album Torn by Reflection\, the band has now turned their attention to the national scene. They are currently focused on touring throughout the Midwest and beyond to spread their influence and music to new fans around the country. \nWonderful Bluffer’s current lineup consists of Joe Joe Scott (guitar)\, Christian Fritz-Klaus (vocals)\, Adam Rimkus (bass)\, William Matthews (keys) and Alan Joseph “A.J.” Peal (drums). \n \n  \n\nRAINBOW COBRA are a rock n roll band from Milwaukee Wisconsin founded by Oli Smith\, Tommy Curtis\, Sam Broadnax and Nikki Abel in 2021. Self described as “incredibly lazy perfectionists” they seek to capture the highs and lows of Midwestern\, and specifically Milwaukee\, living. \nTheir latest release “Asleep at the Wheel-EP” is available on all streaming platforms. \n \n\n“Although quite new\, the sticky sounds of Milwaukee’s Simple Syrup have established them as a promising alt. rock band in Milwaukee’s DIY scene. Comprised of Emma Ross (vocals)\, Griffin Larson (guitar)\, Jack Thompson (guitar and keys)\, Ethan Hansen (drums)\, and Wyatt Koelsch (bass)\, the five-piece have crafted a sound of moody guitars and catchy melodies. They are currently working on an EP that will be released later this year.” \n \n\nDoors at 7:00pm\, Music at 8:00pm\, $12
