SUMMARY:Eclecti-Pop! w/ Local Hands supporting Women's March * March 7\, 2026
DESCRIPTION:Eclecti-Pop! is (or\, when in the U.K.\, are) the uniquely “almost-every-genre” melange of longtime folkie/rocker Laura Nash (drums/guitar)\, journeyman punk-pop bassist/guitarist Paul McComas and\, up front\, pop and baroque(!)-music maven Emily Quinn (keyboard/lead vocal). (Oh\, and they’re all active feminists.) The Chicago-based band’s name came in reply to the question “What do you play?” (Alternate answer: Everything EXCEPT metal\, gangsta rap\, and arena-friendly hair-band cock-rock.) This homecoming performance for Cream City native Paul is just the second gig ever for Eclecti-Pop!; come watch ’em make a li’l hometown-history with diverse originals (by all three members) and a\, yes\, eclectic range of well-chosen pop/rock/etc. covers. \n \n\nEric Blowtorch‘s journey in music is a testament to his passion and versatility. Born Eric Beaumont in Milwaukee\, he has embraced a wide range of musical styles\, including reggae\, ska\, rocksteady\, soul\, rock ‘n’ roll\, funk\, hip-hop\, Anglo-Afropop\, Latin\, and jazz. His music often carries a political and communal message\, reflecting his deep connection to the community and his admiration for Jamaican musicians. Blowtorch’s collaborations with various artists and his commitment to his craft have made him a respected figure in the music industry. His latest album\, “Quality Items\,” is a triple vinyl LP recorded with the Inflammables\, showcasing his continued evolution as an artist. \n \nEric will be joined by Dena Aronson on conga! \n \n\nLocal Hands is a sometime acoustic\, sometime electric\, Chicago-based indie folk rock duo featuring Chris Churchill on guitar and vocals and Caitlin Shantz on guitar\, violin\, and vocals. They feature “original songs of love\, loss\, and living.” \n \n\nDoors at 7:00pm\, Music at 7:30pm\, $10 with all money going to Waman’s March

SUMMARY:Digbii w/ The Gabriel Hammer Trio * March 6\, 2026
DESCRIPTION:“Bringing a fresh sound to the Milwaukee music scene\, Digbii delivers a powerful blend of original composition and improvisation. Creating and performing music with a mix of catchiness and complexity\, Digbii takes inspiration from diverse influences including the music we were brought up on – Steely Dan\, Pink Floyd –  and the music we’re listening to now –  Snarky Puppy\, Little Big\, Fellowship Band. \nThe Milwaukee roots in Digbii run deep.  Dave and Brian have been stalwarts in the jazz scene for decades as members of The Clams / Clamnation among other groups.  Saul is an up-and-coming mutli-instrumentalist and founding member of the “frog-rock” band\, Fightin’ Bob.  Craig has been playing in and around Milwaukee for nearly 20 years  after being part of Michigan-based jam band Assembly Required for many years.  Digbii was formed in 2014 as an outlet for 20 years of compositions that had not found a home in other bands.” \n \n\n\nGabe Hammer trio is a funk-soul-jazz organ trio from Milwaukee\, WI featuring Gabe Hammer\, Troy Leisemann\, and Peter Behlmer. \n \n  \n\n\nDoors at 7:00pm\, Music at 8:00pm\, $5.  Facebook Event Page

SUMMARY:Heavy Bend w/ Oh Well OK\, Disposable Thumbs\, & Wyvern * February 27\, 2026
DESCRIPTION:Heavy Bend is an alternative folk rock band from Milwaukee\, WI\, known for their deep and direct lyrics that speak to the tension between selfhood and togetherness. The band’s music is influenced by the Violent Femmes\, The Microphones\, and Big Thief\, with a focus on emotional drive and sincerity. They have released two singles\, “Scared to Know” and “Sidetracked\,” and are currently working on their sophomore studio album. Their live performances are known for their earnest and evocative sound\, with a blend of fuzz-saturated guitars\, blunt drums\, and melodic bass lines. \n \n\nOh Well\, Ok are a noise rock band from Milwaukee\, Wisconsin. The band plays noisy tunes reminiscent of 80’s and 90’s indie bands such as pavement and dinosaur Jr. The heavy use of distortion and loud guitar noise also takes a leading role in the group. \n \n\nDisposable Thumbs is a power pop trio from Milwaukee that mixes elements of smooth jazz\, shoegaze\, and psychedelia to create tunes as bizarre as they are addicting. Expect a constant flux between jangly grooves and fuzzed out fury (with a good dose of phaser). \n \n\nWyvern is a band from Rock Island\, Illinois \n \nDoors at 7:00\, Music at 8:00pm\, Pay what you can. \n  \n \n

SUMMARY:Mardi Gras/Fat Tuesday w/ Ryan Meisel Quartet\, & Smoke N' Mirrors * February 17\, 2026
DESCRIPTION:Celebrate Mardi Gras & Fat Tuesday!! Get into the spirit of the Mardi Gras as traditional New Orleans jazz is celebrated with the Ryan Meisel Quartet featuring Celia Meisel on vocals and sax!! Joining & opening for them is Smoke N’ Mirrors\, a band that brings new life to the classic organ trio sound with original compositions and fresh improvisations. Come out to dance\, celebrate the season and have fun. “Laissez les bons temps rouler!” Let the good times roll! \n\nRyan Meisel Quartet featuring Celia Meisel – Ryan and Celia’s dynamic playing and original arrangements capture the spirit of New Orleans we collectively hold in our hearts and imaginations. Meisel is a multi-instrumentalist\, educator and composer from Milwaukee Wisconsin.  Ryan grew up outside of Milwaukee and honed his jazz skills under the tutelage of legendary bassist Richard Davis at the University of Wisconsin Madison and master jazz educators Ron Carter and Rodrigo Villanueva at Northern Illinois University. Ryan strives to share music that is original\, unifying among musicians and uplifting for audiences. Hailing from the South\, Celia Meisel is a soulful singer and saxophonist whose blues-infused sound is steeped in story and feeling. \n \n\nSmoke N’ Mirrors:  The band was formed when old friends and former band mates\, Gabe Hammer (organ) and Pete Geraci (saxophone) reconnected in MKE in 2017. The band went through a few configurations before solidifying into the group today. When Sam Kacala (drum set) joined\, the trio quickly evolved into one of MKE’s most entertaining new jazz groups. \nThe music of Smoke N’ Mirrors takes inspiration from jazz legends such as Jimmy Smith and Jack McDuff as well as more popular artists like James Brown\, Parliament\, and Grover Washington Jr. Smoke N’ Mirrors aspires to create a fun\, dance-friendly vibe while also creating space to push the limits on self-expression through improvised solos and hypnotic grooves. \n \nDoors at 6:00pm\, Music at 7:00pm\, $10 \n\n

His sound is a distinctive blend of acoustic and slide guitar\, stellar rack harmonica\, expressive vocals and insightful songwriting developed over many years of performance and study. His style can be described as a combination of Folk\, Americana and Blues. \n“His vocal resemblance to John Prine may be a plus for some\, but Stano’s songwriting voice is his own\, apt for the folksinger’s task of chronicling the local while relating it to the universal.”  The Shepherd Express \n \n\nAward-winning Detroit singer-songwriter Mike Ward is known for his lyrically-centric\, vocally-charged folk songs. DESCRIPTION:John Sieger is a versatile musician and songwriter based in Milwaukee. He has been front and center in some of Milwaukee’s most beloved bands\, including The R & B Cadets and Semi-Twang.  He currently fronts the John Sieger Combo\, which features his brother Mike Sieger on bass and harmony\, Bob Jennings on keys and sax\, and Bob Schneider on drums.
