SUMMARY:Songwriter's Circle w/ Ricky Ganiere\, Jesse Thayer\, Lisa Ridgely\, & Scott Hanson * April 24\, 2026
DESCRIPTION:Milwaukee Songwriters in the Round: The Sapling Sessions. An Arbor Day celebration of staying rooted\, intentional growth and reaching for the sun and stars. Featuring local singer-songwriters Scott Hanson\, Ricky Ganiere\, Jess Thayer and Lisa Ridgely in an intimate\, casual night of story and song. Doors at 7\, music starts at 7:30. Featuring: \nRicky Ganiere: This is great songwriting weather! A hot cup of coffee\, a hoody and my guitar. Make sure and check out the tunes on ReverbNation and keep your eyes open for new Great Lake Drifters and my solo performances! \n \n\nWith a slow burning mix of keys\, voice and acoustic guitar\, Jess Thayer has been smiled upon by fate and played years with her dad’s blues duo and Milwaukee rock and folk staples. Her time with Blonde on Blonde\, Litmus Vinyl and Heidi Spencer and the Rare Birds has not only taken her across the Atlantic\, but to that beautiful place where jams\, lyrics and connection live in abundance. \n \n\nLongtime frontwoman of Milwaukee band The Fainting Room\, Lisa Ridgely is at home with an acoustic guitar and a microphone. Her original songwriting’s femme-forward style is rooted in the singer-songwriter tradition and influenced by her Midwestern upbringing\, hormones\, ‘80s pop\, ‘90s alternative\, and modern indie & Americana. \n \n\nScott Hanson writes from the heart\, performs from the soul. Since the early 2000s\, this Milwaukee-based singer/songwriter’s songs come to life with an aim to connect to you\, the listener\, in some way\, tangential or profound. Drawing from acoustic Americana\, folk\, rock\, “grew-up-in-the-90s\,” and lots of Petty\, Hanson’s performances are meaningful\, memorable\, and fun! \n \n\nDoors at 7;00\, Music at 7:30\, $10

SUMMARY:Garrett T Capps w/ Derek Pritzl & the Gamble\, & Maximiano * April 21\, 2026
DESCRIPTION:Garrett T. Capps is an American songwriter\, producer\, and musician from San Antonio\, Texas. He is known for his unique blend of Tex-Mex rock n’  roll and Kraut-Country\, which he describes as partially influenced by 90’s  pop radio. Capps’ music often features elements of punk\, doom metal\, and experimental music\, showcasing his diverse musical influences. He is also a co-owner of the Lonesome Rose honky tonk in San Antonio and has been involved in various community projects\, including organizing the online “Viva Telethon”  during the pandemic. Capps’ debut album\, “Y Los Lonely Hipsters\,” released in 2016\, marks his initial exploration of TexMex rock n’ roll. His latest album\,  “Life Is Strange\,” released in February\, continues to explore his signature sound with a focus on cosmic country elements. \n \n\n“Derek Pritzl is a Wisconsin singer/songwriter born and raised in the fertile farmland of Valders\, Wisconsin. He brings a style and narrative that is reminiscent of some of the great songwriters of yesterday and today\, continuing a tradition of songwriting developed by artists such as John Prine\, Guy Clark\, John Fogerty\, and Bill Walkner. His songs evoke visions of the struggles of the working man\, the road-weary traveler\, and of love found and love lost. Regardless of the size of venue\, his music and songs create an atmosphere of intimacy\, reflection\, and fellowship that brings the audience into his world.” \n \n\nMaximiano Janairo\, a Milwaukee-based singer-songwriter\, has carved out a unique niche in the music scene with their soulful blend of heritage\, identity\, and raw human experience. Their debut album\, “The Real Truth\,” explores themes of growth and change\, with songs that shimmer\, echo\, and glide through tales of memory and identity. The album features a variety of sounds\, including piano\, pedal steel\, flute\, and clarinet\, and is supported by an all-star band of Milwaukee musicians. Maximiano’s music is described as lush\, courageous\, and ambitious\, with a sound that captures the beauty of newfound wisdom. They are known for their willingness to write songs out of necessity\, providing companionship for feelings that are too difficult or embarrassing to express. Maximiano’s artistic journey has been shaped by their parents and their deep connection to their family’s ancestry\, and they embrace their identity as a mixed-race\, non-binary\, queer artist. \n \n\nFacebook Event Page \nDoors at 7:00\, Music at 7:30\, $15

SUMMARY:Jesse Garwood Club w/ Mas Verde\, & Smooth Talkers * April 18\, 2026
DESCRIPTION:Hi! I’m Jesse Garwood\, an indie pop/rock singer and songwriter in Milwaukee\, Wisconsin. I write CONSTANTLY and excel at coordinating the sound of my songs seamlessly with the messages they convey. Between the acoustic roots and painfully honest lyrics\, listeners find themselves exploring a world built into each of my songs. You may have seen me perform at Milwaukee’s local open mic nights\, bars and breweries\, and even at Summerfest – the world’s largest music festival… And I’m just getting started! \n \n\nMas Verde is a fusion of Rock\, Blues\, Jazz\, and Psych. Starting out of Milwaukee\, WI\, Mas Verde is a music collective formed around the songs written by lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist Zach Spiegler. Inspiration behind the music of Mas Verde ranges from The Cars\, The Beach Boys\, and David Bowie to more modern acts like Mac Demarco and Tame Impala. Mas Verde’s music is a reflection of good times\, falling in and out of love\, and drinking a beer while daydreaming about your life. Plus\, the world needs more green\, don’t you think?! \n \n\nSmooth Talkers are an Alternative Grunge Pop band formed in Milwaukee in 2025. It consists of Peter Lindsey(guitar/vox)\, Jimmy Richardson(lead guitar)\, Ghostcrab(bass) and Steve Luna(drums). Soaring guitars\, dynamic vocals\, gangbusting bass\, and a powerhouse behind the drums result in a live experience that takes you on an angsty ride from subdued lows to bellowing crescendos sure to leave you wanting more. \n \n  \n\nDoors at 7:00pm\, Music at 8:00pm\, $10

SUMMARY:MODERN TIGERS W/ Resurrectionists\, & Shrinestone * April 17\, 2026
DESCRIPTION:Dreamy and cinematic.\nProgressive and experimental.\nEmotional and heavy. \nA full audio/visual experience. \nMODERN TIGERS is a band from Milwaukee\, WI. \n \n\nResurrectionists\, a band hailing from Milwaukee\, Wisconsin. \nHistory and Formation: \nThe Resurrectionists came together in early 2019. The project emerged after the breakup of another band called Work\, in which the bassist and singer/guitarist Joe Cannon were both members. \nWork had a mix of punk energy and slower\, desperate-sounding songs. When Work disbanded due to the drummer moving to Texas\, Joe and bassist Jeff Brueggeman explored various successor projects. \nThe Resurrectionists were born out of the idea of focusing exclusively on the slower\, more melancholic side of their music \n \n\nShrinestone is a dreampop/shoegaze band from Milwaukee\, WI\, known for their emphasis on spirituality and melody. The band consists of Ted Brusubardis\, Sam Lozoff\, Liz Barton\, Brandon Birchbauer\, and Jason Todd. They release music in packs of four\, and their latest album\, “Kismet And Blank\,” was released on November 16\, 2025. \n \n  \n\nDoors at 7pm\, Music at 8pm\, $10 \n\n

SUMMARY:Sophia Corinne\, Ellie Jackson\, Lyle De Vitry\, & Mol Sullivan * April 16\, 2026
DESCRIPTION:Sophia Corinne harvests poetry for the lines of each song from her life\, one lived paying attention. Her songs offer the companionship of something beautiful for us to hold close in any season. Since 2021 she has been tending a garden of folk songs and diy shows\, releasing multiple EPs and touring extensively across North America. In 2025 she released her debut album ‘let’s just pretend’ via Ghost Mountain Records. She is currently based in Asheville NC\, where she lives in a tiny home. \n \n\nWith the support of a rotating cast of bandmates\, Ellie Jackson delivers determined vulnerability and emotional exploration through guitars\, stories\, amplification and a careful balance of harmony and dissonance. Ellie blurs the lines between poetry\, literature\, activism\, music\, comedy\, conversation\, and hopes you leave braver than you arrived. \n \n\nMuch like life itself\, the music of Lyle de Vitry comes in cycles. With his intricate\, ambient fingerpicking guitar style and suede-soft baritone voice\, de Vitry mesmerizes audiences into meditative serenity. Immersed in rich and nuanced harmonic composition\, listeners are gently drawn into the here and now. Effortlessly moving between unity and dissonance\, voice and instrumentation\, rhythm and melody\, de Vitry seamlessly integrates the comfort of folk music with the spine-shivering emotional release and intentionality of classical compositions. In so doing\, he manages to create a sound as dynamic and honest as the ocean’s eternally flowing tides or the planet’s ever-changing seasons. \n \n\n\ncincinnati grit // midwestern charm\n\n\n“Cautiously” music video out now\n\n\nGOOSE\, debut LP streaming everywhere 🙂\n\n\n\n\n\nDoors at 7:00pm\, Music at 7:30pm\, $10

SUMMARY:Lost Orange Cat w/ Cozy Danger * April 11\, 2026
DESCRIPTION:Lost Orange Cat burst onto the Milwaukee music scene in 2018.  Musically featuring their original songs inspired by a broad variety of styles and genres.  They are always pushing the boundaries of their creativity to find new sounds that feel familiar.  The band’s live performance brings the force of a locomotive led by Josh Konkel’s power soul vocals backed by a Rock N’ Roll band disguised as a bluegrass band. The group is made of 4 total members that each bring a unique stylistic flare to give Lost Orange Cat their original sound. You’ll hear elements of classic rock\, outlaw country\, psychedelic blues\, and a hint of bluegrass to give you something you can only call\, Folk N’ Roll. \nMembers: Josh Konkel: Vocals/Guitar Geoff McDonald: Bass Joe Royten: Mandolin Kyle Ciske: Drums \n \n\nCozy Danger is a jangly rock trio that takes influence from a Milwaukee sound that defined bands like Soul Low\, Jaill\, and Sat. Night Duets. \nCozy Danger is the surf garage passion project of Jake Brandt\, Chris Vertovec and Phil Gieschen. Born from the bend of Milwaukee’s indie rock scene\, their jangly brand of surf garage teeters between surf driven garage pop\, funk-tinged rock\, and smiley punk. Simply put\, this band is dog-friendly and fun AF. Cozy Danger is fresh off a year of break-out shows including a sold out Edelweiss Concert Cruise\, Milwaukee street fests like Summer Soulstice Festival\, and a record release show at Shank Hall. Their latest single\, “Basement Uno” spins regularly in rotation on 88.9 Radio Milwaukee. \n \n\nDoors at 7:00\, Music at 8:00\, $10

SUMMARY:Eclecti-Pop! w/ Local Hands supporting Women's March * March 7\, 2026
DESCRIPTION:Eclecti-Pop! is (or\, when in the U.K.\, are) the uniquely “almost-every-genre” melange of longtime folkie/rocker Laura Nash (drums/guitar)\, journeyman punk-pop bassist/guitarist Paul McComas and\, up front\, pop and baroque(!)-music maven Emily Quinn (keyboard/lead vocal). (Oh\, and they’re all active feminists.) The Chicago-based band’s name came in reply to the question “What do you play?” (Alternate answer: Everything EXCEPT metal\, gangsta rap\, and arena-friendly hair-band cock-rock.) This homecoming performance for Cream City native Paul is just the second gig ever for Eclecti-Pop!; come watch ’em make a li’l hometown-history with diverse originals (by all three members) and a\, yes\, eclectic range of well-chosen pop/rock/etc. covers. \n \n\nEric Blowtorch‘s journey in music is a testament to his passion and versatility. Born Eric Beaumont in Milwaukee\, he has embraced a wide range of musical styles\, including reggae\, ska\, rocksteady\, soul\, rock ‘n’ roll\, funk\, hip-hop\, Anglo-Afropop\, Latin\, and jazz. His music often carries a political and communal message\, reflecting his deep connection to the community and his admiration for Jamaican musicians. Blowtorch’s collaborations with various artists and his commitment to his craft have made him a respected figure in the music industry. His latest album\, “Quality Items\,” is a triple vinyl LP recorded with the Inflammables\, showcasing his continued evolution as an artist. \n \nEric will be joined by Dena Aronson on conga! \n \n\nLocal Hands is a sometime acoustic\, sometime electric\, Chicago-based indie folk rock duo featuring Chris Churchill on guitar and vocals and Caitlin Shantz on guitar\, violin\, and vocals. They feature “original songs of love\, loss\, and living.” \n \n\nDoors at 7:00pm\, Music at 7:30pm\, $10 with all money going to Waman’s March

SUMMARY:Digbii w/ The Gabriel Hammer Trio * March 6\, 2026
DESCRIPTION:“Bringing a fresh sound to the Milwaukee music scene\, Digbii delivers a powerful blend of original composition and improvisation. Creating and performing music with a mix of catchiness and complexity\, Digbii takes inspiration from diverse influences including the music we were brought up on – Steely Dan\, Pink Floyd –  and the music we’re listening to now –  Snarky Puppy\, Little Big\, Fellowship Band. \nThe Milwaukee roots in Digbii run deep.  Dave and Brian have been stalwarts in the jazz scene for decades as members of The Clams / Clamnation among other groups.  Saul is an up-and-coming mutli-instrumentalist and founding member of the “frog-rock” band\, Fightin’ Bob.  Craig has been playing in and around Milwaukee for nearly 20 years  after being part of Michigan-based jam band Assembly Required for many years.  Digbii was formed in 2014 as an outlet for 20 years of compositions that had not found a home in other bands.” \n \n\n\nGabe Hammer trio is a funk-soul-jazz organ trio from Milwaukee\, WI featuring Gabe Hammer\, Troy Leisemann\, and Peter Behlmer. \n \n  \n\n\nDoors at 7:00pm\, Music at 8:00pm\, $5.  Facebook Event Page
