Please don’t message me before then trying to sign up. It will annoy me.\n♫ You must be vaccinated to participate\, and show proof of vaccination to register. You will need to attach a picture of your vaccination card with the other required registration info ( listed below). If you’re vaccinated and have no way to send a picture please message me and we can arrange something.\nThis event takes place in a bar\, and thus\, you must be 21 or older to participate. See it instead as an opportunity to collaborate with someone more dedicated and who is not a quitter. DESCRIPTION:Celebrate Riverwest!! \nLinneman’s is proud to call Riverwest home for 29 years!  Disheartened by the cancellation of the 2022 Locust Street Festival\, we still have many reasons to celebrate our soulful\, creative\, diverse\, colorful\, and spirited Neighborhood. \nSo please join us here at Linneman’s for a day of music\, vendors\, & fun!  We will be hosting a number of the musical acts that were to appear before the festival was cancelled.  \n11:30am:  Legendary Wisconsin Music Hall of Fame keyboardist Sigmund Snopek\, like he has for decades\, will blow his 12-foot Matterhorn\, commemorating the start of what should be Locust Street Festival.  He will then be joined inside by his wife Denise for an hour set of Sigmund’s legendary songs! \n1:30pm:  Music by the newly formed\, Elephonic\, a 7-piece band full of prominent Milwaukee veteran musicians.   It’s led by frontman and long time pop music icon Mike Jarvis\, whose popular bands The Blow Pops\, and The Lackloves packed music clubs.. \n4:00pm:   Music by the newly formed Glad Onion\, a 5-piece band of veteran musicians who share a love for The Beatles. \n6:00pm: Caley Conway & Ellie Jackson blend two angelic voices with electric guitar to produce magic original bliss! \n11am-6pm: There will be a number of vendors on our sidewalk\, including: \nA booth by the Wisconsin Anti-Violence Effort (WAVE) that will have information on their continuing effort to lobby for sensible guns laws\, and a peaceful Wisconsin! \nThe artistic vendors include: Flattery Works\, Color Folds by Kristina\, Flower Crowns Etcetera \nOpen 11am-7pm.  No cover charge.
