The band plays noisy tunes reminiscent of 80’s and 90’s indie bands such as pavement and dinosaur Jr. The heavy use of distortion and loud guitar noise also takes a leading role in the group. \n \n\nBUG MOMENT is an Emo-Adjacent Rock Melancholia group from Milwaukee\, Wisconsin consisting of Jasmine Rosenblatt\, Grayson Edward’s\, Elias Dorsey and Aidan Hoppens. This band was formed in the end of 2020\, and since has released their EP “BUGS”\, followed by their debut album “The Flying Toad Circus”. BUG MOMENT has just released their second EP “The Lazer Collection” out now! \n \n\nOshkosh legends SHOOBIE exist to rock your socks off!! DESCRIPTION:The tale of Missouri-born Americana singer-songwriter\, Alex Ballard\, is certainly a rich tapestry. After Ballard’s 1980’s band Baku Press disbanded\, he relocated to Seattle to write and reflect. Although the music scene there was on the verge of exploding\, Ballard returned to his long-time home\, Milwaukee with a fresh batch of songs\, and released his first solo E.P.\, Madeira\, on Don’t Records. The E.P. was nominated for 5 WAMI (Wisconsin Area Music Industry) awards\, received rave reviews in publications like College Music Journal and airplay on both independent and commercial radio. Ballard formed Sugarfoot in 1993 to tour behind the effort. That same year\, Alex Ballard and Sugarfoot were voted one of the top 10 unsigned bands in the country\, according to Musician Magazine. \nIn 1999\, the band recorded Take a Picture (Karmadillo Entertainment Recordings)\, the band’s first full-length. It received great reviews and write-ups in Billboard Magazine and No Depression\, among other publications\, and indie sales of the record were brisk. The band toured behind the album extensively throughout the Midwest and beyond\, opening for such legendary acts as Wilco\, Little Feat\, The Band\, Semisonic\, and others. Recently\, in 2018\, they opened for Edgar Winter at the world’s largest music festival\, Summerfest. \nAlthough personnel have changed over the years\, one thing has remained consistent\, and that is the quality of Ballard’s songwriting. The current lineup\, featuring Jeff “H” Harrington on bass\, Dan Johnston on guitars\, Matt Davies on keyboards\, and Jeff Jara on drums\, delivers the goods live\, and Ballard performs at his best. On their latest releases\, Built my World and Lathe of Heaven (Karmadillo Entertainment Recordings)\, the band showcases their folk rock and Americana roots as well as their pop sensibilities. The strength of the songs combined with the current lineup will make Alex Ballard and Sugarfoot a contender for your shortlist. DESCRIPTION:Sad Laser\, with new songs by Vermillion Twins\, Steve and Gary plus some oldies with Front of Truck!! Original members Randy Diderrich and Mason Brown join the twins for the FOT set! \nSad Laser-“Collapse the One” \n \n\nThe Buddyrevelles were formed in 1997 in Eau Claire\, Wisconsin by Aaron Grant (guitar & vocals)\, Scott Hoch (bass & vocals)\, and Dan Reinholdt (drums).  In 1998\, the band recorded and released their first album\, September\, November on Motorcoat Records and subsequently relocated to Chicago. The album’s melodic layered guitars\, vulnerable vocals\, taut over-driven bass\, and propulsive drumming introduced the band’s distinct but accessible pop sound to the public. Their second album\, American Matador was released in 2000. Through it\, the band showed a willingness to experiment with increasingly complex song structures and inspired instrumental breaks\, while managing to keep their sound firmly rooted in the indie-rock idiom. After a few years\, and some major life changes\, they released their third album\,  Don’t Quit\, the band’s first release on Chicago’s Solitaire Records\, which found them distilling the very best of their previous work into a lithe\, muscular 32 minutes of indie pop bliss. \nWith a newfound sense of purpose and a wealth of life experiences to draw from\, they are poised to release more new music. Following closely on the heels of The Consolation (2024) will be the second of three 4-song EPs\, entitled The Concession. \nRecorded\, mixed and mastered by The Buddyrevelles at Erie Sounds in Chicago. The Concession marks a return to the band’s longtime label\, Motorcoat Records. \n \n\nKevin Tihista/Housesitters is a singer-songwriter and musician. He is a former bassist for the Chicago group Triple Fast Action and contributed songs to the Veruca Salt album Resolver. Tihista’s solo music is a mixture of pop and rock combining orchestration\, electronica\, vamping\, and multi-tracking. DESCRIPTION:Wurk is a 6-piece funk-fusion group that formed in Madison\, WI in 2016.  Inspired by Snarky Puppy\, Umphrey’s McGee\, Herbie Hancock\, and many others; their innovative original songs and ambitious interpretations of popular covers offer an impressive multi-genre exploration of funk\, jazz fusion\, prog rock\, reggae\, and more. Described by Isthmus Magazine as “summer-jam-perfect”\, their sound seeks to employ a musically educated tone; Wurk fills the gap between complexity and groove\, impressing fans and keeping them dancing all night. The Madison Area Music Association (MAMA) Awards recognized their rapid ascent to stardom in 2018 with the Breakthrough Artist of the Year Award; then only six months later Wurk won five more awards including the coveted 2019 MAMA Artist of the Year Award. Max Morkri drives the band with his blend of solid grooving and intricate chops\, which is coupled by Casey Seymour’s powerful bass lines to glue  the band together. Frank Laufenberg (guitar/vocals) and Miles Morkri (electric piano/vocals) provide rhythmic and tonal complexity while filling the role as the principal songwriters and vocalists.  Daniel Haschke (saxophones/flute) and Carl Hipenbecker (trumpet/vocals) top it off with impressive horn lines and effects. \n \n\nChili the Band is a group that like to incorporate a singer-songwriter style into the fusion blues & soul that they jam. DESCRIPTION:Glitzy is a five-piece band formed with influences as eclectic as their members. Their lineup of two guitars\, synthesizer\, drums\, and bass come together to create riffy\, dense\, slacker-rock soundscapes. They have been writing\, recording\, and performing in the Milwaukee DIY scene since 2022. \n \n\nRAINBOW COBRA is a Milwaukee based Rock project formed in 2022 by lead songwriter Oli Smith. Oli is joined by Nicholas Abel on bass and vocals\, Tommy Curtis on guitar and vocals\, and Kam Kudick on drums. The band has released three EPs\, with the most recent “55 Times” currently streaming on all digital platforms. RAINBOW COBRA plays regularly in Milwaukee as well as throughout the greater Midwest. Their music ranges from high energy guitar rock to slow burning ballads. In 2025\, RAINBOW COBRA will be hitting the studio again to continue writing and recording. Keep an eye out for future releases and show announcements! \n \n\nOh well\, Ok is a noise rock band from Milwaukee\, Wisconsin. Sometimes they write unconventional melodies & harmonies\, and sometimes they take you on a sonic journey. Originally a Chicago native\, he comes from a long line of musicians dating back to his great-grandfather who was a composer from Vicente Guerrero\, Mexico. DESCRIPTION:Offtide is a Milwaukee-based psychedelic Post-Rock band formed by longtime local musicians Sam Balistreri (guitar\, synth\, vocals)\, Matt Martell (bass\, vocals)\, and Alex Keimel (drums) in 2023. Drawing inspiration from a multitude of artists and genres\, Offtide is a product of pure passion that blends elements of post-rock\, shoe-gaze\, psychedelia\, and progressive rock to create a unique listening experience. \n \n\nZang! (MKE) plays heavy psych inspired by horror and the macabre. Zang! are Rusty (drums\, vocals)\, Mike (guitar)\, Andrea (bass\, vocals) \n \n\nOh well\, Ok is a noise rock band from Milwaukee\, Wisconsin. The band plays noisy tunes reminiscent of 80’s and 90’s indie bands such as pavement and dinosaur Jr. The heavy use of distortion and loud guitar noise also takes a leading role in the group.

DESCRIPTION:Beats Workin’ \nThough not unique it is no less true that Beats Workin’ is the outgrowth of a series of jam sessions attended by 5 guys who love traditional bluegrass music\, while believing the genre is not set in stone- that through the joy of making music\, tasteful and creative contributions are waiting to be discovered (we think Bill would be proud!). As we each looked at the other 4 concluding we were all near-irreplaceable\, the transition to a band seemed quite natural. \nWho’s in the Band? \nViktor Brusubardis- Bass\, vocals \nViktor brusubardis began performing on the bass in the Spring of 2021\, joining members of Chicken Wire Empire\, The Millbillies\, and co-founding the Milwaukee bluegrass band\, “Sugar Bush.” He has shared the stage with artists Dead Horses\, Billy Bronsted (Billy Bronsted and the Bluegrass Buddies)\, Mike Mangione (Mike Mangione and the Kin)\, and others. Viktor enjoys playing different genres including Jazz\, Classical\, Bluegrass\, Folk\, Americana\, and Old Time Music. When Viktor is not playing the bass he performs as a classical cellist in Milwaukee’s Festival City Symphony and teaches cello in the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra’s Progressions Program. \nKen Finkel- Banjo\, vocals \nKen Finkel got involved in Bluegrass while at the University of Rochester (NY). Largely self-taught\, he made his way to Cincinnati where he met Dede Wyland and Jim Price through mutual friends. During a gig in Chicago\, they came down along with Peter Knupfer and Dan Crownover. Turned out they formed Grass\, Food\, and Lodging. In their five years together\, they built a strong regional following and gained national recognition\, appearing on the Prairie Home Companion\, and many prestigious festivals around the country. \nPeter Roller- Dobro\, vocals \nPeter Roller plays Dobro with Beats Workin’ and is a longtime performer and composer of fingerstyle and slide guitar music. In the 80’s he was main accompanist for 1’st generation bluesman Yank Rachell\, acting as Producer and playing guitar on the Grammy-nominated Blues Mandolin Man album. In the 90’s Roller’s original lap slide instrumental Rancho Mirage was included on the popular compilation Masters of Acoustic Guitar\, while he also performed and recorded with dance band Paul Cebar & the Milwaukeeans\, gospel quartet The Masonic Wonders\, and Violent Femmes bassist Brian Richie. After retiring as Professor Emeritus from Alverno College\, Roller returned to his early love for Bluegrass and old-time Country Dobro\, writing adventuresome pieces and performing with eclectic band The Resonators along with Beats Workin.’ \nJohn Stineman- Mandolin\, vocals \nGrowing up in Wabash\, IN\, John Stineman was introduced to Bluegrass music by the many people who migrated from Appalachia for employment. Upon witnessing an exceptional flat picker in the local music store\, he decided he could “do that”\, bought himself a guitar and commenced. After refining his musicianship and moving to Florida\, he founded the Kitchen Table Boys\, his first success in music. He eventually became a member of Big Timber Bluegrass\, a long time Orlando-based band that been founded by Chubby Anthony\, who had fiddled with the Stanley Brothers\, and later featured frequent guest appearances by Chubby Wise\, legendary fiddler with Bill Monroe in the late 1940’s. Upon moving to Ashville\, NC in 2001\, he co-founded One Leg Up\, a five piece swing ensemble that toured the Southeast until 2019. \nJerry Wicentowski- Guitar\, lead vocals \nAs a teenager growing up in New York City\, Jerry was inspired to sing Bluegrass music by the recordings and personal appearances in New York-area clubs of first generation bluegrass artists riding the wave of the 1960’s interest in folk music. His high clear voice carries on the tradition of the pioneers of Bluegrass\, but his singing is far from a pale imitation or carbon copy of those early greats. Jerry’s performances have uniqueness\, depth of feeling\, and most important\, respect and reverence for the music. He revisited the material of one of his early inspirations in his most recent CD\, a tribute to Mac Wiseman entitled\, ‘Thanks\, Mac!’ Mac himself praised Jerry’s work saying “Jerry\, I’m flattered by your interpretation of my material and I think it’s a wonderful piece of work! I heartily endorse it\, and I’m very pleased that you’re carrying on my legacy.” In October of 2019\, just prior to pandemic’s onset\, Jerry featured material from his recording on the stage of Nashville’s historic Station Inn\, accompanied by some of that city’s outstanding Bluegrass musicians. \n \n\n\nDescribed as genuinely talented with classic folk voices\, Patty Stevenson and Craig Siemsen are known for their gorgeous harmonies\, impeccable musicianship\, playful stage humor\, and jewel-like original songs. Patty says about performing\, “I try for magic – nothing less! For the place that opens hearts and will move an audience to tears or smiles.” \nPatty and Craig were individually ‘out there’ enjoying their music\, when\, in the mid – 1980s\, they met while performing at a folk music festival. For many years\, the couple maintained solo careers\, even after they married. Eventually\, with the prodding of wise friends\, they agreed to perform one show as a duo. The rest\, as they say\, is history.
