SUMMARY:Groove Grease w/ Hot Science * November 21\, 2025

SUMMARY:Long Mama w/ Resurrectionists\, & Allen Cote * November 20\, 2025
DESCRIPTION:Long Mama’s music blisters with the heart and grit of someone who has lost hard\, loved harder\, and licked her burns until they stung then silvered. In a drafty attic just west of the Milwaukee River she grew up on\, you’ll find songwriter Kat Wodtke (Wood-key) raking through notebooks in search of a salve: words\, stories\, and sounds to temper the dumpster fires we never mean to light. Flickering behind each song is Wodtke’s lived insight into our human faults & fissures – the moments in life when we can slip and lose our footing\, or claw our way out…better people on the other side of the blaze. \nWodtke coined the name Long Mama (after a prickly\, shade-loving cactus) and teamed up with guitarist Andrew Koenig and drummer Nick Lang\, a pair whose chemistry adds dusky afterglow to Wodtke’s musical landscapes. Upright bass ace Samual Odin came aboard soon after\, along with regular collaborator Eva Nimmer\, whose backing vocals blend so elegantly with Wodtke’s that one could mistake them for blood harmonies. \n \n  \n\nResurrectionists\, a band hailing from Milwaukee\, Wisconsin. \nHistory and Formation: \nThe Resurrectionists came together in early 2019. The project emerged after the breakup of another band called Work\, in which the bassist and singer/guitarist Joe Cannon were both members. \nWork had a mix of punk energy and slower\, desperate-sounding songs. When Work disbanded due to the drummer moving to Texas\, Joe and bassist Jeff Brueggeman explored various successor projects. \nThe Resurrectionists were born out of the idea of focusing exclusively on the slower\, more melancholic side of their music. \n \n\nAllen Coté is a composer\, multi-instrumentalist\, multimedia artist\, divemaster and ship captain\, originally from Austin\, TX and currently based in Milwaukee and Door County\, WI. Coté is proficient in guitar\, lap steel\, bass\, ukulele\, mandolin\, and many others; and received the Wisconsin Area Music Industry’s 2011 “Specialty Instrumentalist of the Year” award. He holds his 25 Ton Master with Aux Sail Merchant Mariner Credential\, captains several ships in Door County\, and guides scuba and snorkeling tours on shipwrecks in the region. \nAllen Coté has contributed to recordings and performances by numerous national and international artists. He has also provided original scores and sound design for film and live theatre productions with worldwide distribution\, received “Best Score – International Short Documentary” from the Hollywood North Film Awards\, and composed ten seasons of the Emmy-winning PBS television show Wisconsin Foodie. \n \n\nDoors at 6:30pm\, Music at 7:30pm\, $10

SUMMARY:Oister Boy w/ Oh Well\, OK and Waterspouts * October 23\, 2025
DESCRIPTION:Oister Boy is a four-piece punk powerhouse from Minneapolis\, channeling chaos into catharsis with a sound that slashes through the noise. Ferocious and vulnerable in equal measure\, their thrashy\, emotionally raw music fuses jagged riffs\, scream-along hooks\, and moments of disarming clarity. Now into recording their first full-length album and fresh off a run of packed local shows\, Oister Boy is fast becoming one of the most essential voices in the Midwest punk scene. \nBorn from a mix of angst\, urgency\, and DIY grit\, Oister Boy isn’t a polished act—and that’s exactly the point. After reemerging with a new lineup in early 2025\, the group carved their way back onto stages with a series of shows that lit up the Twin Cities. It was never about perfection; it was about connection. Their lyrics dive into heartbreak\, mental health\, growing pains\, and the aching absurdity of modern life—real\, messy\, and loud. They’re not trying to escape the chaos; they’re soundtracking it. \n \n\nOh well\, Ok are a noise rock band from Milwaukee\, Wisconsin. The band plays noisy tunes reminiscent of 80’s and 90’s indie bands such as pavement and dinosaur Jr. The heavy use of distortion and loud guitar noise also takes a leading role in the group. The groups recently released their debut album! \n \n\nWaterspouts is a new Alt-Country/Rock band from Milwaukee\, influenced by artists such as Uncle Tupelo\, David Berman\, and Neil Young. Featuring both introspective lyrics and fuzzed out riffs\, they are a celebration of the best parts of the genre. \n \n\nDoor at 7:00pm\, Music at 8:00pm\, $10
