DESCRIPTION:7000apart w/ Ben Mulwana & his Band\, & Alyssia Dominguez\nDoors 6pm\, show 7pm\, $10 \nAbout 7000apart \nWe are Amelie & Jon\, a married pop duo that were in a long-distance relationship & now make music together! 🎶 \nAdditional information\n“She’s from Stockholm\, Sweden. He’s from Green Bay\, Wisconsin. Together\, they’re 7000apart\, a pop duo with a high school love story and an international following.” //Green Bay Press Gazette 2021\nThe husband-and-wife duo of Amelie Eiding and Jon Kresin is the core of 7000apart. Their story began in 2012 when Amelie left her hometown of Stockholm\, Sweden to attend high school as an exchange student in Green Bay\, Wisconsin. It was there where she met Jon and they fell in love. When she returned to Sweden\, the couple started 7000apart as their creative project together named after the 7\,000 kilometer distance between them. They spent three years like this before reuniting and getting married in 2016\, which is when 7000apart became a serious artistic endeavor. \n7000apart released their debut record “We Are More” in 2019\, which now has over 130\,000 streams (and counting) and is featured on over 1\,300 playlists on Spotify alone. 2020 also brought Amelie & Jon to the international stage on Sweden’s Got Talent (Talang) with their original song “Until I Found You”\, brought them international press with a collaboration in Sweden with mental health non-profit Suicide Zero and their song “Hör av dig (Reach Out)” to spread awareness about loneliness people face during the holidays\, and garnered them a WAMI (Wisconsin Area Music Industry) nomination for New Artist of the Year. 2021 brought more accolades for the duo with their song “Blank Check” being played on U.S.A. national TV on MTV’s show “The Hills: New Beginnings” \nBen Mulwana is a Ugandan-born and raised artist residing in Wisconsin. With soulful lyrics and a diverse range of musical inspiration\, Ben’s music has a storytelling quality that is both unique and familiar. Whether alone or with his band\, he brings high energy\, engaging with his listeners and sharing his heart through his music. \nBen released his debut EP\, “Wano Naawe”\, in June 2019; and his most recently released Single\, “Lies of the Devil”\, is available on all streaming platforms. Ben is set to release his next project in the spring of 2022. \nAlyssia Dominguez is bringing a new flair to country music by infusing a touch of her Hispanic roots. Growing up in a family deeply rooted in traditional Tejano music\, Alyssia was always destined to be a musician. \n“Mexican music has always been in my blood. I was raised around it and I learned how to sing and play that style of music from my grandmother. She was the one that really made me fall in love with the genre.” \nAlyssia began performing at local venues at the age of fifteen. Since then\, the list of stages where she has performed has grown to include the Wisconsin State Fair\, Summerfest\, Turner Hall Ballroom\, and many others. \n“I began singing country music when I was in high school because I loved the stories those songs told. With my new album\, I thought it would be perfect to combine country style with attributes of traditional Mexican music. Both genres have a storytelling quality that I love. I hope everyone from age two to ninety nine loves this new music because each song not only has meaning\, it also makes you want to dance!” \nCurrently performing as a solo artist\, Alyssia is hoping to change the game in the music scene with her unique style.

DESCRIPTION:Postponed until May 7 \n*Entry to this evening’s entertainment requires proof of vaccination\, or proof of negative Covid-19 test taken within 72 hours of the show* Temperatures will be taken at the door.* \nMidwestern music-makers FAKE BLIND DATE are an “alt-pop / eclecti-rock / punkabilly /outlaw-cowgirl / midnight-jazz-dive quartet.” (Yup—yet another one of those. Yawn.) \nIngredients: Milwaukee’s Kari Lueneberg aka Molli Putz\, on guitar\, lead vocal\, and flute; journeyman bassist\, singer\, ‘n’ harmonica-slinger Paul McComas; unparalleled up-‘n’-comer Megan Rault on sax\, flute\, ‘n’ jazz vocal; and “Peter Van Eck a- drummin’ like HECK!” \nFBD was conceived in May 2018 at Chicago’s Cafe Cabaret Uptown\, hatched three months later at a Martyrs’ Club anti-rape benefit\, dormant during 2020’s pandemic lockdown\, and re-birthed (definitely not “born again”) in June 2021 at Montrose Saloon. A December ’21 live-online podcast benefiting the Ed Asner Family Center solidified the current lineup. Their prior 50/50 originals/covers ratio is tiltin’ toward their own songs as the band eyes an eponymous 2023 debut-album on Chicago Acoustic Underground’s CAUDog Records (the label that released Paul’s-&-Maya Kuper’s acclaimed 2017 Unplugged: A Survivor’s Story… Soundtrack). \nHolly and the Nice Lions are a three-piece rock-n-roll monster named by one of front woman\, Holly Trasti’s\, young students. Their stage presence has been said to rival those of Iggy and the Stooges\, Patti Smith\, The MC5\, and The Yeah Yeah Yeah’s. Their recorded efforts reflect a controlled chaos shining through their darkened and thunderous overtones. Drummer Travis Pashek hits like he is trying to move mountains sonically while keeping everything together. Bassist Steven Spoerl rides the line of melody maker and stark\, percussive passion. Holly Trasti wields her guitar prowess with abandon while delivering vocals of the same manner. Holly and the Nice Lions are not suited to be a backdrop to an experience\, but rather a band to be experienced. \nDoors 7pm\, show at 8pm. $10 Cover

DESCRIPTION:Signalfire: noun. A distress signal from a person or parties indicating immediate help is required. \nBack in 2009\, the boys of Milwaukee rock band Signalfire called it quits. After a few years\, rock devotees lit a signal fire of their own. It was a desperate cry for help from weary fans who’d only had generic rock music to satisfy their appetite for good tunes since the band packed it in. Their distress call couldn’t be ignored any longer. In 2014\, Signalfire reunited to answer their fans prayers for riffs\, grooves\, and tunes. \nRole call. Andrew Ballard. Vox and Git. Wails melodies like he’s sinking to the bottom of Perdition.\nBrett Dumstrey. Bass. Distributor of infectious grooves.\nAC. Drums. Beats the skins like they owe him money and lays down thundering beats. \n2014 was a banner year for the rock and roll torchbearers. April saw them release their whiskey-fueled magnum opus\, ‘Mrs. Saturday Night’\, their first album as a trio. What’s it sound like? It’s the audio equivalent of your fifth shot and suddenly everyone at the bar is looking real good. They’re jams that get under your fingernails and just won’t wash out. It’s good time music; melody and rhythm that transcends borders and cultures. \nReceiving attention from the press for their standout single ‘Let It Out’\, Signalfire were honored with a featured artist spot on Reverbnation for a week. Their new rock jams led them to a prime slot at the world’s largest music festival\, Summerfest\, in their hometown of Milwaukee. Not to deny other cities a taste of Mrs. Saturday Night live and in person\, Signalfire then hit the road and shared the love with fans all over the Midwest before taking a victory lap around Milwaukee\, culminating in a main stage opening slot for national touring act Tantric. 2022 brings a new recording! \nNo matter where you go\, loyalty means the same thing. It represents a promise to uphold a code of honor. You remain true to yourself\, your friends\, and your family. Lines Of Loyalty maintain this level of commitment to both their craft and their mission \nDoors at 7pm\, music at 8pm

DESCRIPTION:Milwaukee-based band Moonglow\, previously known as Commodore Calipso\, has changed its genre and name a few times throughout its lifespan. But in the band’s latest album\, Moonglow\, it all comes together for a blend of all the members’ favorite sounds. \nHumiston says they’re oddballs of Milwaukee. The band doesn’t stick to a single genre because they want everyone to enjoy their music\, taking inspiration from many of the rock and jam bands they’ve played with over the years. “We dwell in the realm of funk\, pop\, soul\, rock and R&B\,” said keyboard play Joe Humiston. “There’s not a lot of bands in Milwaukee that sound like Moonglow\,” \n“I picked Moonglow for our name cause first\, it’s a jazz standard\, and then it’s the name of one of my favorite albums by Tatsuro Yamashita\,” said Humiston. “It has that cityscape kind of vibe to it and it’s easy to remember and easy to say.” \nWith their first album Moonglow\, they’ve already established themselves as a premier Milwaukee band. “We are just kind of a variety of genres and the through line\, for me is\, what sparks joy\,” said guitarist Isaac Repinski. “City-pop for me is very nostalgic\, specifically for me because I lived in Japan when I was a kid.” \nDrummer Sterling said that they were working on coming up with a vision for the next album that is bit more focused than Moonglow. You can find Moonglow on Bandcamp and Spotify. –  MITCHELL STEWART\, Milwaukee Magizine \nCorn on my Dinner Plate is seven friends from chicago making songs together:  Colin Kolasny\, Nico Diaz de Leon\, Roan Quinn\, Jack Harris\, Chris Sánchez\, Jeremy Adams\, Weber Anderson

DESCRIPTION:Rucksack Revolution Album Release Tour. Sunday\, February 20. Doors at 5pm\, show at 6pm. Tickets\, $15 both in-person\, and online here: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/221177486817 \nAbout:  Featuring Sarah Vos of Dead Horses and Adam Greuel of Horseshoes & Hand Grenades \nBio:\nBio’s sure are a funny thing. Sometimes the band writes them for themselves\, other times they pay a bunch of money to have a professional do it. Well\, instead of that whole hoopla\, I’m just going to explain why I think Sarah and I find serious amounts of joy in making music together. We met back in the early days of Dead Horses and Horseshoes & Hand Grenades. Those are our two “main bands”\, ya know\, our day jobs. Anyhow\, we immediately hit it off and became friends. I think there was a sense of musical and life curiosity\, as well as mutual respect\, that drew us together. That feeling led to us hanging out at my college rental house in Stevens Point. We started playing music together and there was this wonderful and immediate sense of chemistry. The floors were wooden\, and I think that made the sound sparkle a little bit too. That really was the first night of “Rucksack Revolution”. Since then\, our friendship and our music have grown and created some great nights of music and magic. Sometimes we play songs we’ve recently written\, other times we play songs from Dead Horses or Horseshoes\, and sometimes we even play songs we’ve never played for anyone before. Sometimes we feel real high\, sometimes we feel real low. I think we take comfort and pride in the acceptance that we have for one another and I think that creates a relaxed feeling that can lead to some beautiful sounds. In the spring and summer of 2021\, we decided to go to a recording studio and lay down some music that was uniquely us. It feels like that experience drew us musically closer yet and I feel great\, and grateful\, about what we created. People are always asking about the future and the past\, but sometimes it’s best to just see what is\, right now. When we get together\, we try to embrace that moment and hope that the folks that come around can join us in that. I think Sarah’s a wonderful songwriter\, a great human\, and a dear friend. I really\, really enjoy making music with her. How’s that for a damn bio? -Adam Greuel \nAdditional Information: “I see a vision of a great rucksack revolution thousands or even millions of young americans wandering around with rucksacks\, going up into the mountains to pray\, making children laugh and old men glad\, making young girls happy and old girls happier\, all of ’em zen lunatics who go about writing poems that happen to appear in their heads for no reason and also by being kind and also by strange unexpected acts keep giving visions of eternal freedom to everybody and to all living creatures.” -Jack Kerouac in Dharma Bums

SUMMARY:February 19\, 2022
DESCRIPTION:The Signalfire CD Release Show has been postponed until Saturday\, March 12! \n  \nSignalfire: noun. \n2022 brings a new recording!

Debuting in December 2021\, John\, Will\, and Kevin blend the honest songwriting of 60s Pop Rock (Beatles\, John Denver\, Carol King\, BeeGees) with the energy and passion of 2000s Alternative (the Killers\, Coldplay\, the Strokes\, twenty one pilots)\, bringing together a unique mix of intimate yet universal music. And we have fun doing it. Come see a show and let’s have a good time. \n \n  \n7000apart \nWebsite: \nhttps://www.7000apart.com/ \nBio: \n“She’s from Stockholm\, Sweden. He’s from Green Bay\, Wisconsin. Together\, they’re 7000apart\, a pop duo with a high school love story and an international following.” //Green Bay Press Gazette 2021 \nThe husband-and-wife duo of Amelie Eiding and Jon Kresin is the core of 7000apart. \n7000apart’s music transcends the relationship between Jon & Amelie. One of the cornerstones of their songwriting is mental health awareness. Their lyrics often touch on personal struggles and finding strength through dark times.

DESCRIPTION:The Panoptics are a 5-piece Milwaukee based band\, playing everything from Reggae to blues to hip-hop. Writing and recording our own original music is our passion and something we do everyday. \nWest Riviera is a rock band from Milwaukee.  They play a unique mix of original music\, some well know covers and a lot of lesser known covers from the likes of Tom Waits\, Chuck Prophet\, Wilco\, the Dead etc.  They play their favorite music and hope that it is well received.  About half of their set list is original music in the vein of Tom Petty\, Wilco…melodic rock music.  Because of the age range of the members\, the audience and the influences are equally diverse.  Whether a college age kid or a older music lover\, West Riviera will play a set list that will surprise and entertain.

DESCRIPTION:Cliffdiver.  More often than not\, artists are only willing to share up to a certain point. They want to maintain some semblance of a life behind the curtain — opting out of divulging too much information and choosing instead to paint with broad enough strokes that they feel like they’ve managed to say something without having to really say anything. That’s not what Cliffdiver is. Cliffdiver is a set of splayed ribs\, a whole lot of heart\, and someone you can turn to when the lights refuse to turn on. Late last year\, the Tulsa-based band of elevator emo pop-rockers released their At Your Own Risk EP\, which featured the stunning single “Cameron Diaz.” Acting as a mission statement for the record and Cliffdiver as a whole\, the pastel tones and feelings of both reassurance and self-empowerment are something that fans new and old can find a sense of comfort in. The band is set to return with a new song called “The water temple is filled with my tears and now I am drowning in sorrow” that has further cemented their place as the kings of elevator emo pop. A playful intro softens the blow of opening lines “Don’t be so dramatic has probably been said to me so many times/It feels like my brand is overreacting and losing my shit and yelling about how I’m doing just fine/but I’m not fine.” The first minute of the song shows us Cliffdiver at their very best — taking us on a journey through their kaleidoscopic brand of genre-fluidity. We shuffle through sounds at breakneck speeds without ever feeling lost in the shuffle. It all feels organic and tied to the complicated nature of the subject of mental health. A subject that Cliffdiver refuses to shy away from. Apart from members of the band actually being fathers\, it’s clear that this is the reason that they’ve jokingly been referred to as dad-rock on Twitter. The label absolutely suits them and the comfort that they bring to their listeners. There’s something magical about hearing someone someone that is so willing to share their stories with no personal details spared in the name of helping you pull your head above water. That’s what Cliffdiver is. \nCleveland Avenue is a pop-punk band from Chicago\, IL. \nKULE is a Punk Band from Madison\, Wisconsin\nFFO: Grown Ups\, Jeff Rosenstock\, Title Fight\, The Wonder Years\, Pixies and Archers of Loaf\nStream the record here:   https://linktr.ee/Bekule93\n  \nAdvance tickets for the show can be purchased here    Doors at 6:30pm\, show at 7:30pm. $15
