DESCRIPTION:Come warm up with us at the first annual Electric Winter. Showcasing three high energy sets with some of Wisconsin’s best up and coming live musicians.\nHosted in the heart of Milwaukee at the historic Linneman’s Riverwest Inn. We are excited to announce this years lineup:\n7:00pm Doors open\n8:00PM 7000apart\n8:45PM HALLOWTRIBE\n9:45PM RAF & Company\n\n*Entry to this evening’s entertainment requires proof of vaccination\, or proof of negative Covid-19 test taken within 72 hours of the show*\n\nRAF & Company \nWebsite: \nwww.rafandcompany.com \nBio: \nRAF is an American Indie-pop singer songwriter who supplements his original lyrics with the unique combination of ukulele and live-looping within his set. He finds inspiration in the musical talents of many\, including Jon Bellion\, YEBBA\, Bruno Mars\, and Mozart. \nRAF & Company is the infusion of different backgrounds\, talents\, and dreams coming together to create a unique company of friends. This collective spirit between creatives and listeners can spark powerful emotions\, authentic conversations\, and personal growth. \n \n  \nHALLOWTRIBE \nWebsite: www.hallowtribe.com \nBio: \nHALLOWTRIBE’s music is about all the feelings: from joy and excitement to anxiety and loneliness. Debuting in December 2021\, John\, Will\, and Kevin blend the honest songwriting of 60s Pop Rock (Beatles\, John Denver\, Carol King\, BeeGees) with the energy and passion of 2000s Alternative (the Killers\, Coldplay\, the Strokes\, twenty one pilots)\, bringing together a unique mix of intimate yet universal music. And we have fun doing it. Come see a show and let’s have a good time. \n \n  \n7000apart \nWebsite: \nhttps://www.7000apart.com/ \nBio: \n“She’s from Stockholm\, Sweden. He’s from Green Bay\, Wisconsin. Together\, they’re 7000apart\, a pop duo with a high school love story and an international following.” //Green Bay Press Gazette 2021 \nThe husband-and-wife duo of Amelie Eiding and Jon Kresin is the core of 7000apart. Their story began in 2012 when Amelie left her hometown of Stockholm\, Sweden to attend high school as an exchange student in Green Bay\, Wisconsin. It was there where she met Jon and they fell in love. When she returned to Sweden\, the couple started 7000apart as their creative project together named after the 7\,000 kilometer distance between them. They spent three years like this before reuniting and getting married in 2016\, which is when 7000apart became a serious artistic endeavor. \n7000apart’s music transcends the relationship between Jon & Amelie. One of the cornerstones of their songwriting is mental health awareness. Their lyrics often touch on personal struggles and finding strength through dark times.

DESCRIPTION:The Panoptics are a 5-piece Milwaukee based band\, playing everything from Reggae to blues to hip-hop. Writing and recording our own original music is our passion and something we do everyday. \nWest Riviera is a rock band from Milwaukee.  They play a unique mix of original music\, some well know covers and a lot of lesser known covers from the likes of Tom Waits\, Chuck Prophet\, Wilco\, the Dead etc.  They play their favorite music and hope that it is well received.  About half of their set list is original music in the vein of Tom Petty\, Wilco…melodic rock music.  Because of the age range of the members\, the audience and the influences are equally diverse.  Whether a college age kid or a older music lover\, West Riviera will play a set list that will surprise and entertain.

DESCRIPTION:Cliffdiver.  More often than not\, artists are only willing to share up to a certain point. They want to maintain some semblance of a life behind the curtain — opting out of divulging too much information and choosing instead to paint with broad enough strokes that they feel like they’ve managed to say something without having to really say anything. That’s not what Cliffdiver is. Cliffdiver is a set of splayed ribs\, a whole lot of heart\, and someone you can turn to when the lights refuse to turn on. Late last year\, the Tulsa-based band of elevator emo pop-rockers released their At Your Own Risk EP\, which featured the stunning single “Cameron Diaz.” Acting as a mission statement for the record and Cliffdiver as a whole\, the pastel tones and feelings of both reassurance and self-empowerment are something that fans new and old can find a sense of comfort in. The band is set to return with a new song called “The water temple is filled with my tears and now I am drowning in sorrow” that has further cemented their place as the kings of elevator emo pop. A playful intro softens the blow of opening lines “Don’t be so dramatic has probably been said to me so many times/It feels like my brand is overreacting and losing my shit and yelling about how I’m doing just fine/but I’m not fine.” The first minute of the song shows us Cliffdiver at their very best — taking us on a journey through their kaleidoscopic brand of genre-fluidity. We shuffle through sounds at breakneck speeds without ever feeling lost in the shuffle. It all feels organic and tied to the complicated nature of the subject of mental health. A subject that Cliffdiver refuses to shy away from. Apart from members of the band actually being fathers\, it’s clear that this is the reason that they’ve jokingly been referred to as dad-rock on Twitter. The label absolutely suits them and the comfort that they bring to their listeners. There’s something magical about hearing someone someone that is so willing to share their stories with no personal details spared in the name of helping you pull your head above water. That’s what Cliffdiver is. \nCleveland Avenue is a pop-punk band from Chicago\, IL. \nKULE is a Punk Band from Madison\, Wisconsin\nFFO: Grown Ups\, Jeff Rosenstock\, Title Fight\, The Wonder Years\, Pixies and Archers of Loaf\nStream the record here:   https://linktr.ee/Bekule93\n  \nAdvance tickets for the show can be purchased here    Doors at 6:30pm\, show at 7:30pm. $15

DESCRIPTION:It was in 1957 that The Esquires musical group was formed in Milwaukee. Today the Moorer family is again generating the energy and excitement of the Original Esquires. Johnny Moorer is the leading member of the group performing out today. Their debut record for Bunky/Scepter was “Get on Up”\, (1967) which became a major hit in the United States\, peaking at #11 as a pop single but reaching #3 on the R&B charts. Following the release they played Chicago’s Regal Theater and the Apollo Theatre in New York City. Further singles were also successes\, and the group released one full-length LP. After five singles on Bunky the group signed a deal with Scepter themselves late in 1968. They later returned to Bunky and then\, in 1970\, signed with Capitol Records for one single (“Reach Out”) and Lamarr Records in 1971 for “Girls in the City”. They are a beloved and well known group originally helped formed by Harvey Scales\, and now consist of Rudy Jacobs of The Seven Sounds\, and Johnny Moorer\, the son\, who continues the musical legacy. \nThe Esquires will be inducted into the Wisconsin Area Music Industry (WAMI) Hall of Fame in October!! \nAdmission for the show is $15 or two for $25! DESCRIPTION:Combining a wintry longing with the warmth of a familiar folktale\, Humbird stretches between experimental folk and environmental Americana to embrace the unexpected. This music invites a refreshing dissonance into the house\, it leaves breadcrumbs along the path and reflects light back at the stars. Humbird’s debut album Pharmakon (Aug. 2019) is a “…an absolutely hypnotic listening experience” according to Folk Alley. Atwood Magazine describes it as music wrapped in “gentle rebellion”.  \nA singer/songwriter with a deep\, textured vocal tone\, Peter Oren weaves elements of country\, blues\, folk\, and early rock & roll into his contemplative indie folk. A year after the arrival of his first album\, he made his Western Vinyl debut with the socially conscious Anthropocene in 2017. A native of Columbus\, Indiana\, Oren self-released his first full-length\, the spare Living by the Light\, in 2016. \nDoors @ 6pm\, show 7-9pm!

DESCRIPTION:Doors at 7pm\, show at 8pm. \nFloor Model is slightly damaged in more ways than one. 20+ years of rocking the Milwaukee scene with no desire or plans to quit anytime soon. Come see a high energy show or listen and you’ll see who and what we are all about. We don’t want everyone to like us. Just the people who get us! \nThe phrase “Joy Is Elusive” appeared in Harborcoat’s Matthew Carlson head one day\, and the singer/songwriter/guitarist wrote it in black Sharpie on a piece of paper and tacked it to the wall above his studio computer. Those words became a conceptual signpost for the Harborcoat’s sophomore album\, aptly titled\, Joy Is Elusive. \n“Not that joy doesn’t happen\, or that we can’t find a lot joy in life and work\, but it seems it can be difficult to find these moments and hard work to sustain them\,” the Lansing\, Michigan artist shares. “I’ve struggled with depression and anxiety all my life and it has always crept into my songwriting as a sort of veiled subtext. With this new batch of songs\, I made a conscious effort to write about it more directly. They aren’t mopey or deliberately maudlin\, but I think during these times people are feeling a lot anxiety\, depression\, and they have been grappling with isolation. These topics are part of the human condition.” \nMatthew is the main songwriter in Harborcoat. Previously\, he led The Pantones for more than a decade\, and currently he writes songs and plays and sings in Lansing power pop outfit\, The Stick Arounds. In addition\, he is the owner and operator of Phonophore Records. \nThe Spud Bucket Story:   Born from the ashes of Those XCleavers\, Tom T (aka Lesions) formed this band named after a bucket of plumbing parts. Sounding in the vein of Tom Petty meets Cracker with a dash of Rockpile\, Spud Bucket continues to create fun danceable music.  \n
