SUMMARY:J.R. & the Strangers w/ Dropbear Collective\, Ben Harold Trio\, & Genesee * December 5\, 2025
DESCRIPTION:Rolling through the heartland of Americana rust\, J.R. & The Strangers are on a roots rock mission to write songs and rattle stages. When Justin Jagler\, Ryan Neale\, Jake Stanzer and Lee Gray come together\, driving rhythms and dynamic guitars turn the pages of a neo-western book of revelations.  The project delivers a blend of roots rock\, outlaw folk\, Americana\, and neo-western psychedelia. \n \n\nDropbear Collective is a 4-piece modern rock outfit from Milwaukee\, WI. Formed in 2018 the band quickly began writing original music and hasn’t stopped since. They released their debut album in late 2019 and with a growing following\, the quartet is redefining modern rock n’ roll. DBC draws influence from a wide variety of artists such as Led Zeppelin\, Built to Spill\, and many more. The group combines to create the unique blend of powerful riffs\, catchy hooks and underlying folk elements. \n \n\nBen Harold & The Rising (TRIO) live and die as a band. The group was founded in 2018 and specializes in rousing\, hard-luck narrative indie/ roots rock. Their fiery collaborative chemistry and fine songcraft recalls classic bands such as Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers\, Counting Crows\, and Jason Isbell & The 400 Unit. The 10 tracks on its debut album\, These Days\, explore the complexities of being human in extraordinary times. \n \n\nGenesee will open the evening. \n\nDoors at 7:00pm\, Music at 7:45pm\, $10

SUMMARY:Driveway Thriftdwellers Album Release w/ Joseph Huber Band * December 6\, 2025
DESCRIPTION:Driveway Thriftdwellers: \n“Emotionally ripe\, old school country.” – Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. \n“Like a vintage yard sale that Merle Haggard might have thrown.” Isthmus. \n“Rugged\, straightforward country songwriting.” Tone Madison. \nVocals\, Guitar / Jon Knudson\nPedal Steel\, Vocals / Ryan Knudson\nLead Guitar\, Vocals / Kyle Rightley\nBass\, Vocals / Aaron Collins\nDrums\, Vocals / Jon Storey \n \n  \n\nJoseph Huber hails from the state of Wisconsin\, and seems to bring forth the varied voices of whatever it may be that lies dormant within either the fertile soil or the callous concrete of that world. It has been said\, “You don’t just like Joseph Huber’s music. You feel it’s something that the rest of the world needs to hear\, and how criminal it is that it isn’t spreading far and wide.” That sentiment could be related to the fact that the voices which Huber unearths are subtle and take more than a hurried listen to truly absorb. A person who appears reserved and matter-of-fact in everyday speech brings forth songs that are anything but that. \nAs the singer\, songwriter\, performer\, recorder and producer of all of his own material\, Huber has his hands full\, but never seems to miss a beat. And his own ‘solo’ material has now certainly surpassed the output of his past efforts\, both in volume and substance. As one of the founding member of the .357 String Band–a group that would probably fit better in today’s ‘Americana-saturated’ environment than in the early to middle aughts–he’s gradually honed a sound that seems to fill a very real gap within the still-emerging genre. \n \n\nDoors at 7:00pm\, Music at 8:00pm\, $20

SUMMARY:A Winter’s evening with Ryanhood * December 19\, 2025
DESCRIPTION:An evening of songs and storytelling\, heartstrings and laughter\, A Winter’s Evening with Ryanhood is a live holiday touring show based on the duo’s record\, On Christmas\, that showcases the high-energy\, big-harmony\, dueling acoustic guitar approach that Ryanhood fans across the country have come to expect. \nFeaturing a blend of original holiday compositions\, wintry covers\, and reworked classics woven together with holiday stories and memories\, Ryan David Green and Cameron Hood invite audiences to experience the joy\, depth\, intimacy\, and excitement of the holiday season by sharing A Winter’s Evening with Ryanhood. \n\nNamed ‘Best Group/Duo’ in the International Acoustic Music Awards\, acoustic-duo Ryanhood got their first break as street-performers at Boston’s Quincy Market. The album offers ten high-powered acoustic-rock songs\, filled with guitar hooks\, inquisitive lyrics and tight vocal harmonies built for the live stage. \nGreen and Hood currently reside in their hometown of Tucson\, Arizona\, where they have won more than a dozen Tucson Music Awards including “Best Folk Band” and “Best Rock Band” (you can decide for yourself which is most accurate). \n \nAdvance tickets can be found here: Tickets for Ryanhood | TicketWeb – Linneman’s Riverwest Inn in Milwaukee\, US \n\nDoors 7:00pm\, Music at 8:00pm\, $25 \n\n

SUMMARY:Show cancelled due to the Packer game - Lost Orange Cat w/ Cozy Danger * December 20\, 2025
DESCRIPTION:Show cancelled due to the Packer game being moved into the evening time slot!!  All parties concerned expressed concern and believe this was the best laid course. It’s hard to compete against the Packers!!  Stay tuned for a show reschedule date. 🙁 \n\nLost Orange Cat burst onto the Milwaukee music scene in 2018.  Musically featuring their original songs inspired by a broad variety of styles and genres.  They are always pushing the boundaries of their creativity to find new sounds that feel familiar.  The band’s live performance brings the force of a locomotive led by Josh Konkel’s power soul vocals backed by a Rock N’ Roll band disguised as a bluegrass band. The group is made of 4 total members that each bring a unique stylistic flare to give Lost Orange Cat their original sound. You’ll hear elements of classic rock\, outlaw country\, psychedelic blues\, and a hint of bluegrass to give you something you can only call\, Folk N’ Roll. \nMembers: Josh Konkel: Vocals/Guitar Geoff McDonald: Bass Joe Royten: Mandolin Kyle Ciske: Drums \n\n  \nCozy Danger is a jangly rock trio that takes influence from a Milwaukee sound that defined bands like Soul Low\, Jaill\, and Sat. Night Duets. \nCozy Danger is the surf garage passion project of Jake Brandt\, Chris Vertovec and Phil Gieschen. Born from the bend of Milwaukee’s indie rock scene\, their jangly brand of surf garage teeters between surf driven garage pop\, funk-tinged rock\, and smiley punk. Simply put\, this band is dog-friendly and fun AF. Cozy Danger is fresh off a year of break-out shows including a sold out Edelweiss Concert Cruise\, Milwaukee street fests like Summer Soulstice Festival\, and a record release show at Shank Hall. Their latest single\, “Basement Uno” spins regularly in rotation on 88.9 Radio Milwaukee. \n\nDoors at 7:00pm\, Music at 8:00pm\, $10 \n\n

SUMMARY:Bellends w/ Daughter Undone\, & Guy-Fi 3 * January 2\, 2026
DESCRIPTION:Bellends formed in the studio around a project that evolved into the record “A Feast for the Crows” Now making waves with their unique mix of heady driving rhythms\, soaring guitar solos\, and lyrics that cut straight to the heart. Hailing from the South\, Celia Meisel is a soulful singer and saxophonist whose blues-infused sound is steeped in story and feeling. \n \n\nSmoke N’ Mirrors:  The band was formed when old friends and former band mates\, Gabe Hammer (organ) and Pete Geraci (saxophone) reconnected in MKE in 2017. The band went through a few configurations before solidifying into the group today. When Sam Kacala (drum set) joined\, the trio quickly evolved into one of MKE’s most entertaining new jazz groups. \nThe music of Smoke N’ Mirrors takes inspiration from jazz legends such as Jimmy Smith and Jack McDuff as well as more popular artists like James Brown\, Parliament\, and Grover Washington Jr. Smoke N’ Mirrors aspires to create a fun\, dance-friendly vibe while also creating space to push the limits on self-expression through improvised solos and hypnotic grooves. \n \nDoors at 6:00pm\, Music at 7:00pm\, $10 \n\n
