SUMMARY:The Milwaukee Polka Riot * September 5\, 2026
DESCRIPTION:The Milwaukee Polka Riot is America’s first and (as far as we know) only alternative polka festival. \nWhat began as a fever dream shared among Keith Gaustad\, Tahrim Tatum and Evan Maruszewski\, finally came to fruition for the very first time on October 21st\, 2017. \nIn clandestine meetings with Jim Rice\, Eoin McCarthy and Frank Chandek\, the Milwaukee Polka Riot grew from a germ of a questionable idea to a full-fledged\, ridiculous reality. \nWhether you like it or not\, The Milwaukee Polka Riot is an annual festival showcasing a host of amazing\, off-kilter bands you’re unlikely to see all in one place\, anywhere else. \n“Milwaukee Polka Riot celebrates alternative permutations of the folkloric dance music of Central Eastern European\, carried by immigrants to the Midwest\, and with which the Cream City is still associated.” – Shepherd Express \n2:00pm – 10:00pm\, No Cover.  More info TBA soon!!

SUMMARY:BAMM w/ Dandelion Delivery Service\, & Gabriel Harris Band * September 11\, 2026
DESCRIPTION:Igniting every stage with passion\, BAMM’s songs and performances blend rich roots music with touches of Southern rock and funk—brought to life through dynamic musicianship and high-energy improvisation. Their sound invites both deep listening and toe-tapping fun\, drawing in fans from diverse musical backgrounds. \nLead guitarist and singer-songwriter Bo Messer grew up on blues and Southern rock and thrives on spontaneous live jams. Tomek Lesniak (violin) was raised playing traditional Polish Highlander folk music with his family. Dylan White (drums) brings a love for experimental soul\, funk\, and jazz. The three first played together in Cruisin Round (formed in 2020) before Bo founded BAMM—a band designed to stand the test of time. Mark Goodden (keys)\, a music-degree graduate\, is passionate about jazz\, music composition\, and the art of intricate musical writing. Pete Koconis (bass)\, who thrives on funk\, rock\, and high-energy grooves\, later joined BAMM after its founding. \n \n\nUp through the cracks of Wisconsin’s Bluegrass scene comes tendri \nlling and roaring an untamed and tenacious sound; Dandelion Delivery Service serves up a delectable and curious multi-course cornucopia of what has been called “Balkan Honky-Tonk” “Delicate Thunder” and “Witchcraft”. With delights and frights to please and surprise all\, their feral harmonies\, intriguing instrumentals\, whimsical and nightmarish songwriting\, and dynamic delivery leave audiences entranced\, enchanted\, and looking with sparkling eyes to the next time the dream may begin\, again. \n \n\nGabriel Harris\, a Milwaukee musician\, is known for his high-impact vocals and finger-twisting guitar work. His music often blends genres\, including blues\, rock\, soul\, funk\, and alternative sounds. Harris’s latest release\, “Can’t Go On With This\,” showcases his ability to intertwine these genres while maintaining a unique style. The track features powerful vocals\, a bouncy bassline\, and horn and saxophone solos\, creating a soulfully funky atmosphere. Harris’s collaboration with Kyle White at Wire & Vice has also been instrumental in the production of this track\, resulting in a well-produced and audible piece that captures the raw frustration in Harris’s voice as he addresses the complexities of communication in relationships.” \n \n\nDoors at 7:00pm\, Music at 8:00pm\, $10 \nGHB: 8:00-8:45p \nBAMM: 9:00-10:15p \nDDS: 10:30-11:30p \n

SUMMARY:Jake Manzi w/ J.R. Wesley\, & Sledge Hawking * September 29\, 2026
DESCRIPTION:Jake Manzi has been on a journey\, and he’s ready to tell you all about it. SUMMARY:Tigernite EP Release w/ Resurrectionists\, & Video Sex Priest * October 17\, 2026
DESCRIPTION:Tigernite is a hard hitting rock-and-roll creature hailing from Milwaukee\, WI. Swaggering riffs\, powerful spitfire vocals and red-blooded explosive performances shot Tigernite to the forefront of the city’s music scene. In the spirit of honest fun\, the band draws inspiration from psychedelia\, punk and rock opera\, creating their own heavy brand of Glam Rock. \n \n\nResurrectionists\, a band hailing from Milwaukee\, Wisconsin. \nThe Resurrectionists came together in early 2019. The project emerged after the breakup of another band called Work\, in which the bassist and singer/guitarist Joe Cannon were both members. \nWork had a mix of punk energy and slower\, desperate-sounding songs. When Work disbanded due to the drummer moving to Texas\, Joe and bassist Jeff Brueggeman explored various successor projects. \nThe Resurrectionists were born out of the idea of focusing exclusively on the slower\, more melancholic side of their music \n \n\nVideo Sex Priest was formed by Liv Mueller and Bill Backes after they spent time playing together in iconic Milwaukee rock band The Lovelies in the ’90s and early 2000s. The two initially bonded over their mutual love of new wave\, dark wave\, post-punk and rock. –Erin Wolf\, Radio Milwaukee \n \n\nDoors at 7:00\, Music at 7:30pm\, $10 adv./$14 Door

SUMMARY:Chris Darby w/ Claire Wellin\, & The Fever Dreams * October 22\, 2026
DESCRIPTION:Chris Darby’s musical development began in Missouri\, and gradually took form in Kentucky\, Illinois\, Oregon\, Wisconsin\, and everywhere in between. Chris is a folk musician whose true home is anywhere his music takes him. Though his singing sometimes reaches the ferocious roar of a territorial lion and other times sinks to the gentle whisper of a wise sage\, his vocal style embodies a rare emotional honesty which captures the full range and depth of his life experience. Likewise\, his dynamic guitar playing gracefully shifts between hypnotic arpeggios and the building crescendo of an oncoming train. \n \n\nClaire Wellin is a singer\, writer\, multi-instrumentalist\, educator\, and organizer who uses music-making to open us up—to each other\, to ourselves\, and to new ways of seeing and being. Claire leads the surrealist folk band Youth in a Roman Field\, is the lead singer of the indie rock powerhouse San Fermin\, and is a proud member of the Coordinating Committee of SURJ NYC. She has performed on Broadway (Once: The Musical)\, written and performed the score for the critically acclaimed Off-Broadway play Accidentally Brave\, recorded as a singer and violinist on over 40 albums\, and regularly composes for dance and immersive visual art projects. When she’s not touring\, Claire especially loves teaching (voice\, songwriting\, violin\, and ukulele)\, live-scoring events\, and watering her plants. \n \n\nServing up a soft indie rock sound\, The Fever Dreams draw from blues\, folk and classic rock to bring listeners original songs of love\, loss and life. For fans of Fleetwood Mac\, Sheryl Crow and Courtney Barnett. \n \n\nDoors at 7:00pm\, Music at 7:30pm\, $10
