SUMMARY:Garrett T Capps w/ Derek Pritzl & the Gamble\, & Maximiano * April 21\, 2026
DESCRIPTION:Garrett T. Capps is an American songwriter\, producer\, and musician from San Antonio\, Texas. He is known for his unique blend of Tex-Mex rock n’  roll and Kraut-Country\, which he describes as partially influenced by 90’s  pop radio. Capps’ music often features elements of punk\, doom metal\, and experimental music\, showcasing his diverse musical influences. He is also a co-owner of the Lonesome Rose honky tonk in San Antonio and has been involved in various community projects\, including organizing the online “Viva Telethon”  during the pandemic. Capps’ debut album\, “Y Los Lonely Hipsters\,” released in 2016\, marks his initial exploration of TexMex rock n’ roll. His latest album\,  “Life Is Strange\,” released in February\, continues to explore his signature sound with a focus on cosmic country elements. \n \n\n“Derek Pritzl is a Wisconsin singer/songwriter born and raised in the fertile farmland of Valders\, Wisconsin. He brings a style and narrative that is reminiscent of some of the great songwriters of yesterday and today\, continuing a tradition of songwriting developed by artists such as John Prine\, Guy Clark\, John Fogerty\, and Bill Walkner. His songs evoke visions of the struggles of the working man\, the road-weary traveler\, and of love found and love lost. Regardless of the size of venue\, his music and songs create an atmosphere of intimacy\, reflection\, and fellowship that brings the audience into his world.” \n \n\nMaximiano Janairo\, a Milwaukee-based singer-songwriter\, has carved out a unique niche in the music scene with their soulful blend of heritage\, identity\, and raw human experience. Their debut album\, “The Real Truth\,” explores themes of growth and change\, with songs that shimmer\, echo\, and glide through tales of memory and identity. The album features a variety of sounds\, including piano\, pedal steel\, flute\, and clarinet\, and is supported by an all-star band of Milwaukee musicians. Maximiano’s music is described as lush\, courageous\, and ambitious\, with a sound that captures the beauty of newfound wisdom. They are known for their willingness to write songs out of necessity\, providing companionship for feelings that are too difficult or embarrassing to express. Maximiano’s artistic journey has been shaped by their parents and their deep connection to their family’s ancestry\, and they embrace their identity as a mixed-race\, non-binary\, queer artist. \n \n\nFacebook Event Page \nDoors at 7:00\, Music at 7:30\, $15

SUMMARY:Jesse Garwood Club w/ Mas Verde\, & Smooth Talkers * April 18\, 2026
DESCRIPTION:Hi! I’m Jesse Garwood\, an indie pop/rock singer and songwriter in Milwaukee\, Wisconsin. I write CONSTANTLY and excel at coordinating the sound of my songs seamlessly with the messages they convey. Between the acoustic roots and painfully honest lyrics\, listeners find themselves exploring a world built into each of my songs. You may have seen me perform at Milwaukee’s local open mic nights\, bars and breweries\, and even at Summerfest – the world’s largest music festival… And I’m just getting started! \n \n\nMas Verde is a fusion of Rock\, Blues\, Jazz\, and Psych. Starting out of Milwaukee\, WI\, Mas Verde is a music collective formed around the songs written by lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist Zach Spiegler. Inspiration behind the music of Mas Verde ranges from The Cars\, The Beach Boys\, and David Bowie to more modern acts like Mac Demarco and Tame Impala. Mas Verde’s music is a reflection of good times\, falling in and out of love\, and drinking a beer while daydreaming about your life. Plus\, the world needs more green\, don’t you think?! \n \n\nSmooth Talkers are an Alternative Grunge Pop band formed in Milwaukee in 2025. It consists of Peter Lindsey(guitar/vox)\, Jimmy Richardson(lead guitar)\, Ghostcrab(bass) and Steve Luna(drums). Soaring guitars\, dynamic vocals\, gangbusting bass\, and a powerhouse behind the drums result in a live experience that takes you on an angsty ride from subdued lows to bellowing crescendos sure to leave you wanting more. \n \n  \n\nDoors at 7:00pm\, Music at 8:00pm\, $10

SUMMARY:Sophia Corinne\, Ellie Jackson\, Lyle De Vitry\, & Mol Sullivan * April 16\, 2026
DESCRIPTION:Sophia Corinne harvests poetry for the lines of each song from her life\, one lived paying attention. Her songs offer the companionship of something beautiful for us to hold close in any season. Since 2021 she has been tending a garden of folk songs and diy shows\, releasing multiple EPs and touring extensively across North America. In 2025 she released her debut album ‘let’s just pretend’ via Ghost Mountain Records. She is currently based in Asheville NC\, where she lives in a tiny home. \n \n\nWith the support of a rotating cast of bandmates\, Ellie Jackson delivers determined vulnerability and emotional exploration through guitars\, stories\, amplification and a careful balance of harmony and dissonance. Ellie blurs the lines between poetry\, literature\, activism\, music\, comedy\, conversation\, and hopes you leave braver than you arrived. \n \n\nMuch like life itself\, the music of Lyle de Vitry comes in cycles. With his intricate\, ambient fingerpicking guitar style and suede-soft baritone voice\, de Vitry mesmerizes audiences into meditative serenity. Immersed in rich and nuanced harmonic composition\, listeners are gently drawn into the here and now. Effortlessly moving between unity and dissonance\, voice and instrumentation\, rhythm and melody\, de Vitry seamlessly integrates the comfort of folk music with the spine-shivering emotional release and intentionality of classical compositions. In so doing\, he manages to create a sound as dynamic and honest as the ocean’s eternally flowing tides or the planet’s ever-changing seasons. \n \n\n\ncincinnati grit // midwestern charm\n\n\n“Cautiously” music video out now\n\n\nGOOSE\, debut LP streaming everywhere 🙂\n\n\n\n\n\nDoors at 7:00pm\, Music at 7:30pm\, $10

SUMMARY:Eclecti-Pop! w/ Local Hands supporting Women's March * March 7\, 2026

DESCRIPTION:“Bringing a fresh sound to the Milwaukee music scene\, Digbii delivers a powerful blend of original composition and improvisation. DESCRIPTION:Heavy Bend is an alternative folk rock band from Milwaukee\, WI\, known for their deep and direct lyrics that speak to the tension between selfhood and togetherness. The band’s music is influenced by the Violent Femmes\, The Microphones\, and Big Thief\, with a focus on emotional drive and sincerity. They have released two singles\, “Scared to Know” and “Sidetracked\,” and are currently working on their sophomore studio album. Their live performances are known for their earnest and evocative sound\, with a blend of fuzz-saturated guitars\, blunt drums\, and melodic bass lines. \n \n\nOh Well\, Ok are a noise rock band from Milwaukee\, Wisconsin. SUMMARY:Mardi Gras/Fat Tuesday w/ Ryan Meisel Quartet\, & Smoke N' Mirrors * February 17\, 2026

Get into the spirit of the Mardi Gras as traditional New Orleans jazz is celebrated with the Ryan Meisel Quartet featuring Celia Meisel on vocals and sax!! He has been front and center in some of Milwaukee’s most beloved bands\, including The R & B Cadets and Semi-Twang.  He currently fronts the John Sieger Combo\, which features his brother Mike Sieger on bass and harmony\, Bob Jennings on keys and sax\, and Bob Schneider on drums.
